EveningSmile

Had a lazy-ish day yesterday, fed dogs, collected DD1 from friend's, made lunch and did a little laundry. Late night watching old comedies with DDs and OH.

Today, up late, showered, breakfast, more laundry plus hand washing, hung everything out. Cooked lunch then fended dogs off while family spoke to family on Skype, finally ate at 3.30, cleared away, last load in WM, sitting down with a coffee.

Still need to think about dinner and tomorrow's packed lunch, bring in dry clothes and sort, hang out towels. And feed dogs again.

Not much been happening at home this week as I've been runny round on errands. When I get home later I need to sort the fridge, futility room, DW and some laundry, to start with. Then I'll look at what else needs doing. Wish me luck.

He had been referred by the optician. I took him to the optician because I saw him struggling. The optician wanted the children's clinic to have a better look as they were more used to dealing with three year old people. We've ordered SB's glasses and have a follow up in two months to see how he's getting on. He seems relieved because he knows he's getting help now.

SmallBoy's birthday is the 29th.

Scout19075 · 05/10/2013 09:53

Nnooooo, not the 29th. Damn tablet auto correct. It's the 28th. Monday of half term.

shopping for fun magazine is the way to go!Grin

yesterday I overslept.today I was awake half night and gave up and got up and 4.30!Hmm

I made a beautiful soda bread loaf last night to have with bessies French style lentils..id expected to have half left for today so thezoolets could have some toasted at breakfast and there would be some left for me for lunch imagine my Shock when the zoolets alone burned through 3/4 of it at dinner slathered with butter!!!!

the gnawed the last at breakfast and I never saw a crumb of itSad

safe to say I will definitely make it again

as the weather is forecasting to turn decidedly chilly I thought it was time to dig out he zoolets winter duvets.they linen cupboard smelt unsavourily fusty so have spent the last 2 day rewashing all the bedding and towels back to freshness...

the new routine is doing the job of reining in dd2 nicely-she seems to thrive best when her day is organised.the only downer is that I have more to do in the evening when as I rise at 5 my brain has retuned to marshmallow but for a more peaceful existtance its worth it longterm!

todays ta dahss
-fed cats
-washing on
-washed kitchen floor
-made breakfasts
-made lunches
-supervised zoolets dressing
-plaited little zoos hair after helped her attempt to brush it herself
-collected next door and school run
