I'm back! Had a lovely week with my DF, DSis and DN visiting but my house is now re-fucked.
Unfuck list for today:
Laundry x3
Dishwasher unload and reload
Kitchen sides cleaned
Living room tidy
Hoover through downstairs
Put clothes away in bedroom

Hoping DD behaves herself and sleeps well today so I can get it all done! I have choc chip cookies to treat myself at the end of it

Well. DD was a 'mare so I unfucked the dishwasher and 2 loads of washing. That's all. #sigh
Tomorrow is another day, right?!

Fell off the wagon, again, must try and get stuff done Tomorrow. Washing machine needs de-molding as does shower cúbicos and I forgot to buy the spray. There's loads of folded laundry to put away too. Futility room seems to have thrown up over itself and the kitchen is hiding under the shopping that didn't Get put away before the dog trainer turned up. DD1's bedroom has exploded, that's the only feasable explanación for it.

I've been far too busy thinking about meal and snack ideas, and getting lot's of help on MN, for OH now that he has finally accepted realised that he has a problem with wheat.

I hope to have some unfucking to report Tomorrow, am surprised this place has stayed relatively clean. Ish.

I got all the bins Emptied, dog pen cleaned -and garden too-, Chicken packets taken out to dustbin after feeding dogs, moré garden cleanened, all before the bin men arrived am currently sipping tea and listening to the dust cart make it's way round the córner. OH put the dustbin outside Pre-school run, he likes to feel usefull.

Other than that little lot I have achieved the following, so far-

Breakfast for family -unfucked
Assembled packed lunches -unfucked
Shoved family out the door -unfucked
Turned off all the lights DDs had left on -unfucked
Opened DDs curtáins -unfucked
Put away some of their irónica clothes -unfucked
Rewashed a pillow that Sat in the washing machine over night -unfucked
Put vinegar on bathroom sinks to descale -unfucked
Cooked food for OH post school run -unfucked
My breakfast -unfucked
E-mail to teacher -unfucked

Still to do, oh so fucking much! Still, it's only 11.40 here so I have plenty of time

There is so much that needs unfucked. Maybe I should make a list of the unfucking areas and do a small one a day.

Did fuck all unfucking yesterday as had a lovely day at a spa with women from work, returned to find DH hoovering the stairs (pause for staggered amazement) bless him but still totally unable to operate the sodding dishwasher....I thought it was blokes that were supposed to be the technical types (plainly not if it involves washing up)..., now up at stupid o' clock as can't sleep and due up for work in less than two hours.. I guess if I started shredding the paper mountain in the study at this time the whole bloody house will awaken...not much unfucking you can do silently!

Feeling slightly smug today, makes up for slacker unfucking performance last week....

Shredded aforementioned paper mountain...hurrah! Compost bin loves me!

Have filed new paper mountain as it comes through the front door, using the principle of only touching new mail once , so its either filed where it needs to be, recycled junk or dealt with...so far its working!

Sorted out my wardrobe so only stuff I actually fit in or will wear in the next 6 months is in there (winter gear), going to charity shop today with bin liner full of summer stuff I never wore this year or doesn't fit. All summer clothing in those vacuum bags so will sit on top of wardrobe but don't take up muck space...brilliant invention.

Found cheap hotel/spa day/dinner & breakfast deal online for DH's birthday in November so booked that as well, booked haircut and dentist appointments......

Cup of tea time....

I think I have found my home!

I think I've found my home too!! I've been staggering around searching for pages like this!! I've spent years begging people to tell me how they keep their houses clean and I came to the conclusion that everyone else is a robot and has it programmed in already and I'm the only human. Everyone just says "Little and Often" or "You just have to keep on top of it"! I don't even know what that MEANS! I recently went through that How Clean is your House book and made a list of things that needed to be done and then decided to draw myself a timetable (I can't draw either) so I could just look at my timetable and not have to think about what I should be doing. It's worked in so much as my toilet is now clean (sort of) but I have a long way to go. What do I do about boxes of birthday cards??? I recently turned a mini milestone age (!) and have lots of lovely cards that I think will make me happy to read when I'm old and decrepit, but maybe it'll just make me miserable and hanker for my past. But then I realise that I'm already hankering for a past that isn't even really past yet!!! Hmm... Do I need to do more swearing??

Ok today I totally unfucked my bathroom while DS was in the bath! He didn't care one iota except when he saw a plastic killer whale pass by to be cleaned... and then again when he couldn't understand why I would want to clean "under the toilet".... I had to point out "that is where you and daddy pee"! he was genuinely surprised. I don't blame him. If I was told "Your Daddy pees on the floor..." I would be surprised.

Wow, 20 minutes goes very quickly. I had to add an extra 10 because my friend phoned in the middle.

I don't seem to achieved much other than to half change my bedding (can't find the clean sheet to put on!) and make a start on packing away summer clothes and sorting through winter stuff.

I might increase to 45 minute chunks instead and see if I can make more progress.

I have to say I've been "marathon" unfucking the kitchen since yesterday - because I need the distraction, I have had the time and it needs doing.
apart from the 2 square feet bit of kitchen top which is covered in crap I'm done!

I've also made an orange, lemon and blueberry cake and some mini muffins.

I've just emptied my wardrobe and am a bit at just how many clothes I have...and I haven't started on my chest of drawers yet because there's too much stuff on the floor to open them . I suppose I should sort that before trying to put the rest away so I can maybe get rid of some of the 20 skirts I've just counted !!!
