Have unfucked enough to keep house as clean as it was last night despite dd's best efforts to spread custard and bolognese onto every surface of the kitchen.

Also got ds to tidy most toys off the floor so the cleaner can actually clean tomorrow instead of just tidying.

Firstly, I have not slunk back to bed yet, so yay me being all motherfucking adult. I have cancelled my Times subscription on the phone, washed the few dishes from breakfast, and unfucked the bastard bin with bleach and everything! I am unfuckingmazing.

I notice that Flylady wants you to get dressed and showered before doing anything. I am just going for the unfucking version- putting a bra on. A bra means business.

I'm back in Bed taking full advantage of OH having gone out and DDs still being alseep. Do need to unfuck the dogs but their breakfast is deforsting as I sip tea.

But can I just ask, before I mingle, how one gets going with unfucking? Is it just the 20/10 principle, and you start on whatever is most urgent ? Or is there a place to begin? (you can tell I'm a hopeless unfucker already, can't you...)

There's a daily checklist here. I'd start with that.

There's an array of unfucking advice on the link on page 1, goes to the website. I always start by decideing which área is most important to me, in my case it's making my bedroom feel luxurious by, erm, cleaning the fucker. I make decluttering an onging process and avoid marothoning like my life depends on it.

If there was a fire, I'd grab a bra first. I cannot manage without a bra on.

Last weekend vomiting, this week so far bad periods, stomach pains and bear waking in the night, not much unfucking - loads of self pity.

In thirty minutes I will go and pick up bear who was a snot monster this morning, grumble about dinner, fuss DH (who is, to be really fair, having a shitstorm time at work) then collapse in bed. In between I'll sneak on loads in the dishwasher, washing machine etc.

Tomorrow is another fucking day.

Zing we need to keep an eye on those critters in their sleeping bags. DD kept rolling onto her stomach last night and doing press ups in hers because she was stuck I think she was training so she can get big and strong and escape more.

Trying to do some work here and then my plan is to vacuum. I also put laundry away and emptied the draining board as I went along. It is amazing the difference those two things make! It means I keep cleaning the kitchen as I go.

I am going to splash out and buy a bottle of bathroom cleaner for each bathroom so I can do the FlyLady 'swish and swipe' when I'm in each one.

I find the FlyLady routines on that FlyHelper app quite useful once I've customised them (i.e. deleted 'get up and weigh self'. If I got up and weighed myself I would crawl straight back into bed.) The meal planner is good too. Much easier having everything on my phone.

For bathroom cleaning, I really Luke the scrub-free spray from Lakeland. It smells strong and is probably full of vile chemicals, but it makes everything gleam with very little effort.

Know what you mean about bra vs no bra days....days not at work are usually bra off days, only sling one of if have to leave the house for something! Lordy I am a slut, no wonder I have to loads of areas to unfuck yet...looking generally much tidier since I've been following this thread though!

I can't do no bra days , but Today I did clear the draining board, seperated out the mugs I'm going to pack -long story and oh so boring- fed dogs, retrived Rogue dogs from street and inspired by Lisa, to drown your sorrows Lisa, put a spare bog roll in the downstairs loo for when the current one runs out.

Then we went out. Tomorrow I seriously need to unfuck the washing machine, t'is fucking mouldy and the shower, same sitch. I used to have strong aversión to extractor fans so insisted we build this house without them, big mistake, fucking huge.

bra-time is everywhere out or if male non-family members are in the house.
bra-free time is home and schoolrun
in the winter as I have a big winter coat to cover me nicely.
