werent you cats it was probably the pinty sticks that scared them off!ha haGrin
how are things now?

bessie glad you got back ok.im Envy at your organisational skills.it would take me some time to get on top of washing etc.....

im feeling a bit proud of myself today..
i have spent 4hours removing plaster dust from eery inch of my front room, wiping all paint work as i went moving all furniture and deciding"does that really belong in here?" on every item.it is now the most tidy i think it has ever been and its lovely to sit in here and admire it though i suspect it wont stay this pristine for long if zoolets arent reigned in pretty hard

sadly, removing all their treasures out it is now residingaround the rest of the house so this is the only room that is presentable but i dont care..its the first time ive had even one room thats so lovely and tidy.even the tv hasnt got grubby fingerprints on it and is gleamingGrin

in other news ds exploded again after tea last night.he is reluctant to eat much and i think by the way he tries to explain himself is feeling bloatedSad
we had to pop to the very local shop this morning for bread and he was complainng his legs were aching poor lamb,he obviously isnt gaining any goodness from what little is going in
his results are back monday pm and if they dont give us answers he may well be back at the doctors again tuesday

its a beautiful sunny afternoon here and i wish we could go out and enjoy it but none of the local parks have tiole facilities and when ds wants to go he wants to go NOW!

carrotsandcelery · 15/09/2012 17:02

Hi everyone.

I am sorry to hear that ds is still having trouble zoo. Sad Can he drink? maybe some flat, high calorie juice would get some calories and hydration in him at least. Poor kid.

Twilight is still with us and hasn't wet herself yet today. FX. She is moving around more again and getting up to mischief here and there so I am daring to hope.

Ds is a bit nicer to know today. He is still volatile but nowhere near as bad as he was. Hopefully the sleep pattern is recovering and he will be better rested.

Having been cold enough to warrant the heating two days ago, it is roasting here today. 22C would you believe?!?!

We are trying to have a really peaceful day - psychologists orders for ds.

The place is messy and dirty but I am trying to keep things calm so just letting it be for now.

bessie26 · 15/09/2012 22:37

zoo - when we are away I put all our dirty laundry into plastic bags, so when I get back I just have 3 or 4 bags beside the WM to get through. Everything unworn gets chucked into trugs & treated like clean laundry. The main thing for me is getting the cases away ASAP otherwise they just clutter the place up.

Your deep clean of the front room sounds great - hope you manage to keep the room under some kind of control even if it means a huge pile of crap some mess elsewhere! When I had things under control I managed to push all the crap into one room (the dining room), but it has crept out & scattered itself around the house again

Hope DS's sleep is ok tonight carrots and that twilight is ok

I've almost finished next week's meal plan

AdoraBell · 16/09/2012 00:57

Carrots I hope DS sleeps well and continues to improve. Hang the house work for a day or two, concentrate on getting him fit and ready for the coming weak.

bessie I like your holiday laundry plan, one thing I don't understand though. The phrase -anything that hasn't been worn - what does this mean Confused

We've had a quiet day, OH walked the dogs this morning while the three ladies slept in. Upon his return I did breakfast, ordered the DDs to get out of bed, showered, WM on, bit of hand washing, made lunch and then we popped out to get walking trews for DD1 OH likes everyone to "proper" clothing etc. Just after we returned, playing ball with the dogs, the vet turned up to collect them for kennelling. He'd confused himself over dates but we agreed they go today so that he doesn't have to drive back again tomorrow. So my dogs are gone Shock temporarily.

I was looking forward to walking my teddy bear he doesn't give me lip and flounce off when I tell him he can't have more biscuits.

Anyway, vet says puppies are fine, been snipped and are recovering nicely. Tomorrow I need to go out early and get salad for a BBQ on Tuesday, nothing will be open on Monday even though the actual holiday is the 18th.

liveinazoo · 16/09/2012 08:05

morning all
carrots hope you and ds got some sleep

we are preparing to go shopping.the girls are driving me nuts cooped up indoors so we are walking down to morrisonsds is staying with dad

i couldnt sleepso have already done a load of washing and hung it up to dry.cant do anymore till have been shopping as am now out of soap powder!

dd2 is being very difficult.i suspect she senses concern for ds and hates anyone else getting attention, especially as its been ngoing for a few days.i have had to get ds and lil zoo to play upstairs everynight after school so that she gets at least an hour of my undivided attention and put them to bed first so she gets another hour watching tv with me.anything else is futile and results in tantrums and fighting with the other twoSad
its becoming very wearing.im strung out and need some time out,but that aint gonna happen!!!

adora must be weird be pet free-any chance the kennel man couldve taken kids/dh?Grin

cakebot · 16/09/2012 08:07

Hi all,
I've got lost in the new school/nursery/job chaos, but I'm emerging into some kind of vague routine, so I'm back on board! Hope I can catch up!

liveinazoo · 16/09/2012 08:11

we dont even try to catch up,just haul back onto the wagon and press on regardlessGrin!!!!!

bessie26 · 16/09/2012 08:38

Hi cake, welcome back! Like zoo says, don't try to catch up, just start slowly from wherever you are.

zoo DD1 is having tantrums atm too. Think she is struggling to adjust back to normal life where she doesn't have the GPs around to give her constant attention! She needs some new warm clothes, do I'm hoping to take her to the supermarket later to get a couple of tops & maybe get a frothy milk in the cafe.

CatsInChaos · 16/09/2012 12:57

Hi all, Sorry I'm a bit late on here again this morning. (Now afternoon)
Welcome back cakebot Smile Just do what you feel you can! I only manage to keep a few babysteps going most of the time, the rest of the steps seem to fall by the wayside. Blush
Today I failed getting dressed first thing but then it is Sunday Wink. I have made my bed and done some hoovering and done some drawing. --The kitchen is a tip but there's noting new there--

Will link babystep in a mo.

CatsInChaos · 16/09/2012 13:04

***babystep 16

This is a bit meh unless you get the emails. I think I will just have a look at the fly site.

OP posts:
CatsInChaos · 16/09/2012 13:10

DD is having a meltdown so I will try to pop back later on.

OP posts:
Scout19075 · 16/09/2012 21:30

I feel so flat and unmotivated.

bessie26 · 16/09/2012 21:34

what's up scout?

Scout19075 · 16/09/2012 21:43

Dunno, bessie. I'd blame PMT/hormones except I've only had one period all year (TMI, sorry). I think it's the Sunday-night blahs despite the fact that I don't have work or a school-aged child to deal with.

bessie26 · 16/09/2012 21:58

Just to contrast - since starting on Cezette (sp?) I've been having a small bleed most weeks - at totally random times Angry

When I CBA I often make a list (my answer to everything Blush) of everything I'd like to accomplish & prioritise it. Then just try to do the top one!

AdoraBell · 17/09/2012 01:13

Zoo I was tempted to ask, 'specially as OH hasn't had the vasectomy he mentioned a decade agoWink

So, did some more laundry, breakfast, DW etc, went out to buy salad to take to Tuesday's BBQ, been out for a bike ride (me) and skating (rest of the gang) felt wrong without the dogsSad. OH and I sorted garden, cleaning and re-planting cacti. The large ones are preducing loads of little ones so we're saving heaps of money on that frontGrin and removed 7 wasp's nests. He also booted out a neigbhour's dog who thought she'd move in as ours are not here. Had a cat wandering around the garden last night. A cat. It's outrageous, even the rabbits are invading.

Welcome back cake and as has already been said don't try to catch up, I never doGrin

Scout19075 · 17/09/2012 08:24

I have a to do and a ta da list already. I can't be bothered to type it in yet. Blush

I have one of those "woke up with" headaches that's hovering just on the side of annoying. I'd like to go back to bed/sleep but sadly I am on my own with Toddler today as I am every other weekday and it just ain't gonna happen.

CatsInChaos · 17/09/2012 09:19

Morning all, Today's babystep HERE,

Ta da's so far:
made bed
got dressed
got DC up and ready for school and breakfasted
got them to school

Next:
Make a drink and write out a to do list.

OP posts:
Scout19075 · 17/09/2012 10:43

To Dos and Ta Das:

get Toddler & me up
get dressed (Toddler, however, is not)
Toddler fed
indoor/outdoor Toddler activity (starts at 2 so need to leave around 1:30 since carless so walking there)
grocery shop
put groceries away

10 minute declutter: living room, kitchen, upstairs/bedroom
15 fling thing: living room, kitchen, upstairs/bedroom
put bags (suitcase type) away
Toddler Aa project: colored, hung, photo, post photo

hotspot: lower stairs (stairs to upstairs in entry way)
start to attack MrScout's side of the bed
charge phone
top up diaper bag: snacks, drinks, diapers, wipes, bags, clothes
update calendar with activities we've done (I'm starting to keep a school diary and each night just list what we've done such as coloring, playing, groups, shopping, etc -- not detailed, just bullet points of the main things)
call for haircut appointment!
keep up on today's washing up so far so good
wash up scary pan from last night
scrub down stove
download pictures from weekend adventures
email parents with details of new album
uncontainer the birdseed cakes for the Bird Picnic

I'm sure there's more but that's so far.

liveinazoo · 17/09/2012 15:03

just a quick catch up before i rush down to collect dd2
this morning i was woken at 4.30 by dd2 with ear ache
i got in her bed and lay there being kickedtil 5.i got up,she woke everyone else at 5.45-definately attention seeking!Hmm
sent her to school.ds has had a normal poo results are back and his sample was normal.i suspect anxiety as he has complained pain and tummy feeling big and hard a few times.he will be returning to schooltomoorrow.an appointment has been booked for 1st October to see gp regarding having bloods taken to test immunity

on the flying front my WM left the towels unspun

cakebot · 17/09/2012 18:07

Thanks for welcome back all! Yes, I think I'll just do what I can from the list. I did mop my disgusting floors today, as well as clear away a few cobwebs. I'm going to write out a wall plan for everyone again this week. Worked quite well last week. Hoping once school routine gets sorted out everyone will know what they are doing and I won't have to do it anymore!

Bessie The same thing happened to me on Cerazette, had a coil fitted which apparently has smaller doses of the same hormone in it and I now have small bleeds, but at sort of 'period' stages, so a bit more predictable.

liveinazoo · 17/09/2012 18:51

me again
the kids are off to bed in a minute.i managed to burn the delicious smelling black eye bean and mushroom risotto whilst refereeing WW3
they are all exhausted and irritable
dd2 wined at teacher this p.m ear hurt, but as was only 30mins before end of school that complaining started to irk the teacher they didnt ring me to get her.
we ended up with wraps with butterbeans and ketchup and mullericesBlush as i CBA to make anything else amongst the fighting!

i have managed to do a bit of ironing and clean the cooker top since we got back from school as well as listen to ds read and clean dd2 lunchbag

little zoo managed to sit in homemeade playdoh at school as well as get glue and glitter on her jumper so her uniform is having to be rewashed despite only having had it on for 2.5 hours!Shock

Scout19075 · 17/09/2012 19:26

I'm very grateful for bedtime tonight.

bessie26 · 17/09/2012 20:32

Hmmm.... Interesting cake - although I'm not sure whether or not to be pleased it's not just me! I don't like the sound of the coil though (they should rename it!) & suspect I would be waiting as long as adora for DH to do anything about it!!

I'm planning a day off next month to go to the opticians & see a personal shopper so I'll get myself a Dr appt for the same day.

scout you & me both! Today was one of those days where I was seriously considering going back to work full-time! DD1 had 2 meltdowns this morning before we had left for swimming (930), and continued with occasional grumpiness throughout the day. DD2 has been dribbling & grizzling most of the day & not wanting to leave my side.

Grin at sticky&glittery little zoo!

The online shop has just been delivered, so I'd better go help put it away.

CatsInChaos · 17/09/2012 20:51

DD has had a cold today so not quite been her lively self. I got her to bed and asleep by 7.50pm which is a little earlier than usual. I think I might try to have an early night tonight cause DD had me awake at 3.00 this morning then back to sleep at 4 only to then be up again at 6.30ish.

I have managed one or two jobs at home today but not much cause DD was clingy. Have done 1 load of washing, some washing up/drying up and cooked dinner.
My "hot spots" (piles of paperwork) seem to be getting bigger again. Not quite sure when I will tackle them as I have a few other things lined up this week.

zoo my DD usually manages to stand in playdoh at nursery then treads it all around the house after wards. Hmm
