I'm Scout. I have ToddlerScout (aka Toddler or TS) who's 2.7. He was very poorly last week and I wasn't well over the weekend so I haven't been on the lists thread for a week.

Back home, OH had managed to avoid cleaning up the puppies for an hour and showed no signs of getting of his arse so I busied myself upstairs.

DD2 woke up and wanted breakfast, I asked her to wait.
OH seemed to realise I wasn't going to get his breakfast and decided to fend for himself, which meant cleaning up first.

Put bowls of vinegar around to combat puppy odor

Puppies are rowdy this morning and it's raining so I haven't walked them, hence the hyperactivity. Glad I have a large kitchen, they've done a few hundred laps.

Need to take DD2 to the Dr later, she needs a cert because of the test she's missing today. She currently planning her birthday party, for August, working on the surprise bag.

Looks like everyone has been busy!! I haven't really done much this afternoon. Vets appointment was delayed and then had to rush to do the school run. Been that sort of day!

@adorabell - I remember when i was younger what it was like when my mum's dog had puppies. It was a nightmare trying to keep the house smelling nice so i don't envy you at the moment.

Tomorrow DDs are at home, signed off, but I must get the puppies bathed as I'm coming up in itchy lumps all over. They've had all their jabs now and de-worming is up to date, so it must be on their fur. Also need to try something from the smelly house thread, bicarbonate of soda on the carpets to nuetralise the aroma from my lovely dogs.

Adora how are your dcs today?

I remember being told that leaving a bowl of vinegar (white) somewhere out of the way absorbs smells.

Bicarb on dry carpets should definitely help. I have to admit I use shake n vac about once a week as one of our dogs sheds copiously and I always feel there is a doggy smell, despite both dogs being well groomed.

Too tired to list any Ta Da's but I am just off to do the final one, bicarbonate on the downstairs carpets.

Puppies food and water is prepped for tomorrow, oil has soaked into my dry and scaly hands, too much hand washing because of puppies. Will report back tomorrow.

DDs not too bad, off school but no in bed. Thanks for asking. One is eating well, the other only wants fruit juice. OH is aching and feverish, he was home today but plans to work tomorrow.
