Toddler's about to have a late dinner (I try to feed him between 5 & 5:30 so there's a bit of time between dinner and bed). I gave him some Calpol a few minutes ago to see if it helps with the eating dinner. We did it last night and it seemed to help a bit so fingers crossed.

bessie26 · 12/03/2012 18:52

BC linky to your AIBU purleese!

Scout19075 · 12/03/2012 19:20

Oh, yes please BC!

BlackCatTryingToFly · 12/03/2012 19:45

o.k. HERE is the AIBU thread although I'm not really sure if AIBU was the right place to post about it now.

Hello again everyone. We have had a fine dining experience in Costco tonight Shock The dcs ate every single bit of it though and it was cheap too!

The opticians was fine. The worst bit was I had to quash the giggles. How Blush when both dcs had sat there are good as gold and then it is me who grins like a maniac Blush Blush

She basically said the only thing wrong with my eyes is that I am totally and utterly exhausted Shock

My vision is fine but I am so tired that by the end of a day I can't see properly.

I am stunned.

I didn't know that was possible.

BC link to your AIBU pleeeeaaaaasssseeee! I got flamed there at Christmas time and won't be posting there again until I am overcome with a wave of stupidity again. (ie probably next week!)

carrotsandcelery · 12/03/2012 19:53

Oh cross posts!

carrotsandcelery · 12/03/2012 20:28

Oh dear! It is all kicking off in our village.

There is a big row brewing, officially, over the combination of events which led to ds's problems.

What one official body doesn't know is that the other official body is partly responsible for what was done to him. It is so complicated.

The responsible party is manipulating things so that they look squeaky clean and don't know that we are party to the details of all the meetings and know that they are covering themselves.

It is like AIBU but in RL. Shock

I don't want any part in it. They have tortured us enough without this.

I don't have any chocolate in either. [disaster] Grin

BlackCatTryingToFly · 12/03/2012 21:15

Oh dear! carrots that doesn't sound good. I don't know what happened to your DS and if you don't want to say, I respect that. Hope it's all going to be o.k. for you all.

BC he was bullied by a group of mothers and then by the headteacher which sparked the anxiety and depression. The headteacher backtracked massively once she realised what was going on and was actually quite nice afterwards but by then it was too late.

carrotsandcelery · 12/03/2012 22:00

Thank you for the hugs Grin

bessie26 · 12/03/2012 22:10

Part of me thinks it should all to come out so that everyone sees what's been going on & those responsible are held accountable for their actions, but I guess that's not really going to help your DS. Sad

carrotsandcelery · 12/03/2012 22:32

I think the majority of the village have figured the adults involved out. Not what they did to ds but what sort of people they are and what they are like as a coven group. [meow!]

I am not that interested in them but wouldn't like them to do the same to another wee boy (I am told the parents, but not the headteacher, have tried with a couple of others they have turned on - I don't know if it is true though).

The headteacher has caused huge distress to countless families which is why there is official business about it.

I would just like the whole thing to go away and to concentrate on ds getting better. It is unfortunate that this blows up on the same day as I find out about the psycholgist leaving.

Sorry for being so depressing. It has so many twists and turns it could be a crime thriller if it wasn't so very, very sad.

On a plus note, I have found out who my friends are and have found them to be very good friends indeed Grin

carrotsandcelery · 12/03/2012 22:53

We are sitting here listening to an amorous male guinea pig (neutered) "singing" to the females. It is so loud we can't hear the tv Shock

He is clearly in the mood for love.

The girls are just squealing at him and running away Grin

BlackCatTryingToFly · 13/03/2012 07:05

Morning all,

Carrots Sad about what happened with your DS, some people can be so cruel.

Grin about the guinea pig, I love the noise guinea pigs make, they are so cute!

Morning all.
Blimey, it's a good job we have a chat thread! Grin
Carrots that sucks! Glad something is being done about it. At least you now have an actual medical excuse for a nap!!!

carrotsandcelery · 13/03/2012 09:41

Morning all! Sorry about last night. I am a bit Blush I hadn't had a drop of gin either Grin

Dh cheered me up laughing about the guinea pig singing, "All the single ladies..."

Today is a new day so onwards and upwards...

BlackCatTryingToFly · 13/03/2012 11:24

Hi all, I'm back from the doctors,
she said the lump is just fatty tissue and the mole doesn't look too bad but I could have it removed just to make sure. I am a little Confused about whether to get it taken off or not.
anyway at least she didn't seem worried about the lump. Smile

Please come out to play. Pleeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee!

BlackCatTryingToFly · 13/03/2012 13:37

I am Sad. have just checked our bank account and worked out the budget from now till payday and we will have £16.00 left int he bank to buy food etc.
I have £13.00 in my purse so hopefully we should just have enough to buy "essentials" (£29.00). That should last a week shouldn't it? Confused

I will have to make sure DH doesn't go and blow it on fags. Sad

OP posts:
carrotsandcelery · 13/03/2012 13:47

NO fags for dh - he will have to ration what he has.

What have you got in the cupboards, fridge and freezer? I can surprise myself how much I keep in stock sometimes. List your stocks here and we can have a go at menu planning with what you have.

Work out what you will need to spend on bread and milk in that time and set that aside first.

carrotsandcelery · 13/03/2012 13:48

It is amazing how cheaply you can eat for a short period of time when you have to.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 13/03/2012 13:52

Right, I think I will go and list what we have. I think we will be o.k. (we won't starve), just can't do our usual "big shop" this week. I will have to be creative.

OP posts:
carrotsandcelery · 13/03/2012 14:05

When it is for a short period of time it can be a fun challenge BC. It's not so fun when it is for an extended period though.
