What temperature do you wash your bedding?

I have been washing mine on 40° - following the care label but it seems from reading another thread that some wash theirs at 60° to get rid of germs.

Once I read that I'm worried that the germs are still there!

My washing machine only has 2 settings at 60°, one is a cotton cycle and the other is a synthetic cycle both are quite long at approx 2 hours.

How do you wash yours? :)

Do you know , I didn't even notice the date.

That is a long time ago, compared with how often people ask about steam mops, positively antique.

The only time I wash bedding below a 60 is when it's new and needs a wash to get rid of the starchy feel all kitchen towels are put on a 90 a lot of people I have noticed don't use the right programmes either a lot of people will put a full load on a synthetic wash which typically is only suitable for a half load full wash loads are mainly cotton cycles while people may feel they are washing well by using higher temperature actually would be better off using cooler wash but on proper cycle
