If you have a white kitchen, can you tell me what counter surface you have

Thanks, going round and round in circles

wood- needs oiling and been told to steer clear
wood laminate- worried it will look a bit cheap
white granite- will it stain, look too clinical
black granite- might look too severe
grey granite- a possibility

We really wanted grey granite but it was out of our budget. We did grey oak laminate

I have a white in-frame kitchen with Pluto quartz. It's a lovely soft grey with white veining. Google shows it as quite dark but it isn't at all

We used a high quality polyurethane with a satin finish and it's gorgeous. The satin finish is much more natural looking than a gloss finish.

thanks, yes, I agree, I restore (or used to anyway) furniture & I much prefer the satin.

Corian - black with small white speckles. It's excellent - had it for 20 years and still almost like new.
