If you don’t have an airing cupboard, where do you store your towels/ bedding?

Pictures would be amazing, but only if you want to! I have nothing to share, which can be annoying when the OP asks for photos! 😬

My new house doesn’t have an airing cupboard and I'm looking for inspiration before I go buying.

Thank you!

I wonder if I have too much spare bedding/ towels. I don’t like getting rid of old favourites…

How much do you have? I have 3x bath sheets for four people and 6x hand towels (we each have our own colour, but the hand towels are a pale grey).

I have 3 sets of bedding each and wonder whether I should slim down to 1 on and one in the wash/ cupboard?

Victorian blanket box for our towels and bedding at the foot of our bed (it was my great-grandmother’s).

Pull out storage drawers under beds in the DC’s rooms for theirs.

Would a towel rack with hooks work? Mounted on the wall, it would hold towels for family of 4, with hooks that would hold everyone’s wet towels, and there’s a towel bar too where you could hang other things or wet washcloths maybe?

For the bedding, maybe pare down to two sets per bed. The extra set then could go into a drawer in each person’s bedroom dresser, or in one of those under bed bins with lid.

I'm going to put all the bedding for each room in the bottom drawer in the corresponding room. Towels will go in drawers in the spare room.

@BringOnAutumn we have one bath sheet for each person here (I have an extra towel as I've got long hair). They hang in the bathroom and migrate into bannisters and radiators.

We have one set of sheets and duvet cases for each bed. And one set for the spare bed.

Getting rid of the extra was good. My mother still has the duvet case I had when I was 5. She doesn't have a single duvet in her house so it has no use at all .. does it bring joy and when was it last used???? Who knows...
