After weeeks of waiting they have finally approved DD passport.... how long normally until it gets printed and dispatched?

Hi I got my little guys two days later.

10 days later its said printer but still waiting for dispatch

Can I ask when you applied and also when they got the birth certificate?

@a1l320n hey, I applied 2nd March, documents were signed for on the 4th but only got the text to say documents received on the 18th! When did you apply?

Applied on 4 March. Docs received 14 March only now showing on system. Not sure if it will be back in time for holiday 5th May. I thought nine weeks would be ok (when I checked it said five weeks average time). Stressed :( x

So mine must be lost. I sent it on the 9th but not tracked stupidly. But not showing up
Also holiday booked thought would have plenty time

You can ring them to chase it up as it’s after 14 working days. Fingers crossed x

Sent older sons to different office later and his passport just came through door. So approx 20 days for him. Just the baby’s we need which is looking bleak As seems so slow there x

I did live chat this morning and they said I just need to wait 😬 we go early may too x

Ours arrived this morning. It's taken five weeks since application.

Was approved last Friday (10 days ago) and printed on sat just gone. Got not dispatch notice or tracker

I applied on 19th Feb (for my child renewal) and I am still waiting to approve :( I cancelled my holiday in April.

I was told yest that once the documents are scanned on there is 8-10 working day delay to get passport and the delay is scanning the documents onto system and once that’s done it’s quicker (this is for a new child passport)
Seems too quick to me…will keep updating!

Applied 18th feb, sent docs straight away and had passport back 10 days ago. Just waiting for the birth certificate back (which I paid £5 special delivery return).

Update - finally been printed! Just waiting for it to be sent! Any ideas of how long? X

When d you send it all of abs did it go to Peterborough? Or the other one lol? My eldest son went to somewhere else and was quick it’s thy r Peterborough one taking ages x

@username09643 i got the message ours was printed on sat and it arrived tues! never got any tracking or anythig

No. thankfully cos our post is really sketchy. got delivered by a delivery company but just got put through the door

Hi all, did anyone send theirs to Peterborough? It’s not saying documents received (2 weeks later than they did receive it). I’m wondering if we need to cancel holiday. We h e four weeks left abs we are now five weeks into waiting :(

@Lovemylittlebear I sent it to bootleg but it took exactly 3 weeks to update documents recieved from day I posted it.

@ a1l320n oh sorry had a typo. It’s now saying received. 2 weeks and a bit later than sent. I’ve no idea if we will get it back in time for holiday beginning May. Where are you up to with yours? X

Our holiday also may 1st. I was told that my documents were recieved on 30th (posted on the 10th). Not sure what to do either! No other word since then…..
