ok in summer we want to go away for a special holiday 10th wedding anniversary with thekids
we are thinking europe and cant hink of anything else really
the kids love eurocamp type thing but i watn comfy bed this year
wonderd if a villa with pool maybe too borign for them but as we are 5 we find hotels a pita re. rooms.

so we want the odd activity but not total kids care
mark warner woudl be ideal BUt
a) boden braying wodul do my nut in and
B) it woudl be too expensive in holiday I think.

Villa with pool would be ideal if you could do trips to local areas like waterpools etc .

Cod how about This

Have been here recently (as has Willow2) - I stayed in a smaller house but Willow2 stayed in one of the villas - I checked them out too they are v nice, but you get the best of both worlds as there are also 10 other houses on site plus a big shared pool, bar and restaurant, but if you don't want to go there you can just stay in your posh villa with its own pool. They do have childcare if you want it (kids club thing). You can put kids to bed and take listening thing to bar, everyone does. Plus you can get babysitting, is v close to gorgeous little town with a nice square, the island is great, food good etc.

Not a big place though, max of 12 families at any time. Plus there is no view directly from the property but nearest beach 5 mins walk.

Sun City and Madikwe Game Reserve in South Africa. It'll be cold at night but you'll love it.

We stayed at the Pierre & Vacances Residence La Baule, booked through Expedia this summer, best holiday we've ever had.
There are kids clubs on the beach nearby if you need one but ours made friends at the pool on the first day so were happy to play there or meet new-found friends at the beach
