We can celebrate Sheffield and Southampton together @MyGreyBiscuit! The email from Sheffield does say December invites so I hope we'll hear before Christmas.

There was some light UCL clickbait today, from "donotreplyadmissions", only to say they made some changes to the way applicants log in to the portal.

@MyGreyBiscuit I just checked reddit and now I wish I hadn't. You're never sure if people are trolling or not. Grateful for our corner of the Internet.

I'd also seen the Reddit thread re Sheffield and genuinely believed invites had been sent - so grateful for this group, I'm the most gullible person so can't spot a troll for love or money! Brighton in person interview today so will just focus on the here and now.

DD didn't get HYMS (which was the one I thought she'd definitely get with 2110 UCAT and all the other necessaries for A level and GCSE)but has Birmingham interview and now waiting on Sheffield along with you @inae and Southampton which will be after Christmas before we know. Hope everyone else still waiting is hanging in there!

@catty29 sorry to hear about HYMS! I hope our YPs all get Sheffield (this week!) and Southampton early Jan as they have good UCATs.

Also waiting for Sheffield here but DD is prepared for rejection (1940 UCAT but put it as her aspirational). She has Leicester interview Friday so would rather she heard next week as it'll be a confidence blow

Sheffield def below 2080 at moment (lowest one my students have). Could be lower. They won't all come out today but over the next few days. Good luck !

Daughter also got Sheffield today. No more waiting now - just the interviews. Eek.

DD passed her driving test today first time, so was a slight distraction for her before Newcastle on Thursday. I am relieved she is feeling so positive now ahead of the interview but also worrying about her driving on her own now!

They are for 3 weeks, from 19th Jan to first week Feb. So we’ve booked for the first week. Had to book hotel too. And will be booking trains soon!

No - but I may ask for feedback. I think for non-contextual her UCAT score may be a bit low looking at some of the ones I've seen here so a bit worried about Sheffield which I think is all on UCAT!

Great to hear about all the Sheffield invites. DD wanted to apply for Sheffield as she loved it at open day but she felt her UCAT was too low.

Well done on passing the driving test too @bluefineliner !!! DS’ is booked for March… he only started a couple of months ago!
