Congrats to all those who have received interview invites today! Still waiting to hear about Physics, but DS did get an offer from Exeter today which he is very happy about :-)

Congratulations to everyone that has received an interview. DS still waiting to hear from Cambridge but his friend was rejected today.

DS2 has an english interview. Phew!

My son has just received an interview at Oxford for History and Politics, he is so pleased and I'm so proud.
It arrived at 4pm today

My son had an email from Cambridge re maths application.
Apparently the process of shortlisting for interview has been delayed due to illness.
They will try and let people know next week as interviews are the following week 4-8 Dec

Wooo!! Just found out a minute ago my DD has an interview for MFL at O. Delighted for her and very proud!! Well done to everyone else with good news today

Well it is after 6 so I may crack open some wine Ds has a rare night out tomorrow (not a party person) and dh and I celebrated 27 years married (yikes) this week so I think we'll go out for a meal to celebrate.

We were informed last Friday that my son would be interviewed (needed to for admission test) and would be informed when this week. They finally confirmed it is on the 7th December just after 5pm this evening!

So many invites today and hopefully more next week for the languages, maths, medicine and cs applicants. Fingers crossed for you @mummylife123. The waiting is the worst part I think.

The spreadsheets on the student room are filling up and are a useful early spot to see if the chosen college and/or subject has released invites.
