My news isn't great. I can't find where we were up to with DD news, but she was working in retail, still only part time unfortunately, and applying for jobs in Heritage and Publishing, without success. Happy in her retail job, great group of people, but not enough either in terms of hours or pay scale. Although having said that, all the Heritage and Publishing jobs were pretty much minimum wage. Hey ho.
She competed in a National Junior Comp for her sport, and was looking forward to Summer travels, when it all went wrong.
I don't want to be too specific, but suffice to say she acquired a traumatic injury, and is only just now coming to terms with a slightly different life. She is fine, she is mobile, but has a lot of deficits. She continues to work, and work have been brilliant and accomodating. The NHS was and continues to be dreadful, that's a whole other post.
So, just to say, you never know where life will take you...... All the plans in the world can change in an instant. Its a bit shit, but could have been way worse.
