They’ve been told 9am here. Is that the same all over? Either by email or in school 🤞🤞

UCAS normally updates from 7am.

We’ve been told 8.30am. Friends with older children have told us it’s not unusual to get the uni offer email first and then the grades . Nothing yet though!

Does UCAS have actual grades though or just the official offer/acceptance? X

Good morning everyone. Not posted for ages but chewing fingernails right now.

Results are embargoed until 0830 so no schools should be sending out results until then. (Think it might be 0800 in Scotland.) Track goes live again for everyone at 0830. UCAS will only tell you uni decisions, school or college will tell you the grades.

No grades on ucas, just confirmation (or not) of place.

Wishing all our DC the very best of luck. Hope everyone gets what they need to move on and put these stressful two years behind them. 🤞

dc1 had offer before his grades (luckily, as his grades were disappointing but got his first choice ).

True. But if no UCAS email yet the track should show a place confirmation, or not.

DS will be between 8.30 and 9.

He's away with work for a few days, he's probably even forgotten its results day, I'm itching to know, although him and college don't seem to have any doubts.

I'm going to text him in half an hour and see if he's remembered, and find out 😬

I’ve heard Gavin say twice now this morning that they have all done wonderfully well. Fingers crossed he’s finally right about something.

In a normal year track would probably be already updated for most but it sounds as if they are holding that back to 0830 as well.

Hoping Ucas doesn't crash!

Yayyyyyyyy! My DS got into Portsmouth to study animation. I am so pleased for her. She still hasnt had her school results yet, which is a bit worrying.

Oppps wrong child, I meant my DD. Must be the glass of fizz I just consumed

I'm now worrying what if he has completely bombed it.
arrghhh I so want to ring him, but he's at work or having breakfast with colleagues..

Slightly odd results here, but place secured at insurance which is the course DS3 preferred. His firm was a bit of a surprise at standard offer above predicted grades. A slightly circuitous route but all happy with the Uni outcome here.

All his friends seem to have secured firm or insurance as well.

@boys3 I actually don't have my own in this game anymore (thankfully at Uni). But am responsible for 180 kids who I feel like are mine this year 😊.
Well done to everyone in what has been a v v tough year. This kids have shown resilience, humour, pragmatism and sheer bloody guts well beyond their years. Be proud of them whatever that bit is paper shows 🥂

DS has got into his firm choice, Lancaster for engineering, but dropped a grade and is currently disappointed. Hoping that will fade and he'll feel like he can celebrate later.
