How's everyone feeling? My dd was pretty much able to forget about results during July but said in a very quiet voice this morning, "I'll find out this month where I'm going."

Is anyone doing anything yet in preparation for 17th? Should we be doing anything yet in preparation for 17th?!

Dd just got an email from Newcastle congratulating her on getting on for dentistry. Off to get results now but the nerves are over!

DS made his insurance uni so we are all very pleased. off to get results......and breath!

Aaarg. Insurance has accepted but Firm has not updated. So we're none the wiser and cant pick up grades til 9. 😭

She is in. But still showing conditional for Cambridge but insurance sent message yesterday saying her place was confirmed if she didn't meet her firm? Help. What does this mean?

Saduser- Don't panic- still conditional means they haven't rejected them at the moment.
It will mean one of two things:
Either Cambridge has not yet updated your DC'S results on their system yet (eg if there's a delay in them receiving their results
Or
Your DC missed their offer but their college has either not yet made a decision whether to take them or not (may depend on their actual marks) or they are in the Summer pool.

Your DC needs to find out their results, including actual marks and contact their college, as early as possible today.

Apply for any remarks straight away so that any change in grade will be received before 31 August, the date by which they must meet their conditions. Good Luck, I hope it is good news later today.

Last year some very good unis took people who had missed their offers by 2 or more grades or got excellent places in clearing.

My son got accepted on the foundation course, no idea of his grades. :(
