Congratulations on the graduations! DS1 was away last week so missed his, but has signed up for the mop up graduation in January.

DS1 is doing an integrated Masters so another year yet. He has just completed an internship in his uni department and seems pretty determined to apply for a PhD.

DD has just completed her first year and DS2 is awaiting GCSE results and already planning open day visits!

Nice to see you raspberry psst it’s EllenJane. Smile I was wondering how your lot were doing.

My DS2, who has ASD, in your DD’s year has just completed his HNC and is topping up to the HND next year. He was on radio 4’s Brain of Britain earlier this year and will be on their music quiz, Counterpoint in Sept.

My DS3 is just awaiting AS results. He’s not quite up there with DS1 but UCAS beckons...

Well done to everyone’s DCs - great results!
DD1 got a first ..... which is amazing for saying she dropped out in her first year of her original course at a different uni. Graduation is over and now the hardwork of looking for a job begins. Just a couple of holidays first 😉
DD2 has finished her third year too but is staying on to complete her integrated masters.

Dear hellsbells, you were on the 2015 thread I remember and I remember the not liking the course, my DS was struggling hard on integrated masters!! Your DD and my DS both got Firstscin the end - suggests staying power. I've named changed several times!!! Congrats to you both.
Congrats to all on here. A new stage. Mildly worried for my DS starting job!! Hmm

Hi Sunndowne. I can't believe you remember me ….and my DD dropping out! So glad she finally made it and had a fantastic 3 years at a different university doing a different degree. Well done to your DS and I hope his new job goes well!

Well done to everyone! The time's gone so quickly.
My DC is re-doing the year - his fault as he should have worked harder but it is what it is.
He has a new part time job and that is going well. All we need now is to sort out student finance!
Will be keeping my fingers crossed for your DC's job searches
