Oh no the link wont work for me Alice.

Vinny glad you are home, chilli is great comfort food, fill up and then get to bed.

What is everyone else having for dinner tonight, I'm having honey chicken stir fry with rice and peas, which reminds me...

Breakfast - sml bowl of cheerios with semi skimmed milk

Lunch - ww tom soup with two white rolls, followed by a go ahead bar.

Snack -- another go ahead bar and an Alpen bar later on as dinner is late tonight.

Dinner (when it's cooked) - honey chicken stirfry with rice and peas. Yogurt.

Snack later if I want it -- fruit pastille lolly.

Only had water so far today but might treat myself to a diet coke.

VinnyTheTit · 06/07/2010 19:36

thanks jaq and mouse

bag is lovely Alice!

bellavita · 06/07/2010 19:37

Your dinner sounds lush Jaq

Mouse, of course a large one . Have just supped the last glass of red that was in the bottle on the side whilst I made some double choc brownies too.

VinnyTheTit · 06/07/2010 19:37

not so sure about that song though Alice

hellsbelles · 06/07/2010 19:53

oh errr...shiney new thread.

I'm Hells - I've been crap and not caught up...but I am being good on the healthy eating. I now have 4 lbs left to lose after about a month on the Dukan diet.

I'm busy - too busy, with work and holiday prep...but not too busy to watch the last 2 episodes of Prison break which the lovely Bitter got me addicted to. So excited

I'm behind as you all know but a big sloppy (but nice) kiss for Mitts & Jaq and a gentle stroke for TWC! I hope things start feeling brighter.

DidEinsteinsMum · 06/07/2010 19:58

Right folks I am off to be super mum whilst my eyes are held open with matchsticks... I hate this week already. Counting down til friday...
Night.

Alicetheinvisible · 06/07/2010 20:03

Vinny - it had DD and me dancing round the kitchen and put me in a good mood, thought i would share

Hey Helles

DH is pumping up my gym ball and i have rasberry leaf tea brewing.

wastingaway · 06/07/2010 20:17

I like it Alice. Er, doesn't raspberry leaf strengthen contractions?

Hello Hells. I haven't seen any Prison Break, what is it similar to?

DEM, is the med break all week?

Oh lovely Vinny, I hope you feel better soon. Chilli sounds yum.

Jaq, your dinner sounds very yum!

Is Orlistat and Xenical the same thing?

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/07/2010 20:24

Evening

Peed off here as found that my new car with Isofix doesn't actually have Isofix . Another thing to add to my neverending to do list. Why is everything so complicated

Vinny sorry to hear you are illing . Would you be willing to move for work, perhaps to the Lakes. I could see what DH might be able to find, but understand if you want to stay local for family/friends

Well done on the progress and continued dieting today Jaq

Big High 5 for Trills too for being stubborn strong

Fanny - how is DD today after her disturbed night?

Alice, would love to see you pg, hormonal and stroppy with bathroom bloke tomorrow

I ran 6k this morning and 10 mins on powerplate. Beef and veg stir fry for tea

jetcat · 06/07/2010 20:25

evening

Jaq - sounds like a very productive day, well done

enjoy your dancing round the kitchen Alice, but careful dancing if you please

Alicetheinvisible · 06/07/2010 20:26

It helps to strengthen the uterus walls i believe so that your contractions are stronger. Also been mentioned that it helps with general stretchyness. Not sure which, but it is advised from about 36weeks/last month of pg. Like i said to DH, it won't make such a difference that it will make me go into labour, but may make labour more productive (if that makes sense?)

wastingaway · 06/07/2010 20:26

Well done Crispy! Bloody cars though, nightmare!

Alicetheinvisible · 06/07/2010 20:45

Spoke to my friend today. The gossip is:

She started seeing some bloke (despite being involved with a couple of others) and apparently he has a bad rep as a cad and a cheat. Seemed to go ok, met parents etc, then he turned weird, then was asking for other girls numbers in front of my friend. Anyway, big bust up, turns out he is actually gay but scared of telling his parents so is trying to act like a bit of a lad to live up to what they think of him. She said she thought it was strange that nothing physical had happened.

May see her on thursday.

wastingaway · 06/07/2010 20:49

Oh yes do, we need to hear more!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 06/07/2010 20:57

Great gossip Alice.

Crispy - bouncing but she was so tearful this morning that thought I would give her a day off.

VinnyTheTit · 06/07/2010 21:09

crispy i would move to the lakes like a shoot, i could actually commute from there, but have no support network for the finnster, if i ever got stuck in traffic there would be nobody to get him from school

when my parents move there i will go too, they have their house on the market now

bellavita · 06/07/2010 21:11

Oooer Alice .

wastingaway · 06/07/2010 21:20

That's exciting Vinny.

Get somewhere with a big garden, then we can all come camp at yours too.

PortiaNovmerriment · 06/07/2010 21:28

There must be a way round that, Vinny. Childminders who can do advice stuff? Other school mums? Honestly, if that's all that's stopping you- let's think of a way round it!

CrispyTheCrisp · 06/07/2010 21:31

Well, not sure what exactly you do in IT Vinny, but let me know on FB and i will let DH know to keep you in mind in his team

Mouseface · 06/07/2010 21:51

Vinny do it! We upped sticks and left dodge but have no childcare options, then again I have MrMouse to help

We have a HUGE garden (which you are all more than welcome to camp in) that backs onto a castle! The best farm experience in the UK - according to the press and the best cows on the planet, according to Muller!

I wouldn't go back to dodge for all the tea in china!

Right, sorry to post'n'piss off but I'm pooped.

No sleep last night as DS kicked his cot everytime he moved!!

Have wedged the sides tonight!

Night night you gorgeous creatures!!

Hope tomorrow brings some sunshine for you all xx

VinnyTheTit · 06/07/2010 22:05

aww thanks guys, i will get to the lakes one day soon, just a bit daunting without my family there atm, but parents already have a house there and they have to make the move soon as they cant afford to keep running two homes

cripsy i will message you my details

bellavita · 06/07/2010 22:08

Vinny, it is exciting!

I am tired tonight.

DH and I are a peed of with DS1. He is not taking his school work seriously and he goes into Yr9 in September. He had a lovely school report in so far as him as a person - nice polite boy etc etc, but he chats in class when he should be getting on with his work (DS2 yes I could have understood but DS1....) His form tutor said he his work has deteriorated since last year. His results are on track in so far as what he needs to be at for the end of year targets (for most subjects) and for others he has exceeded the targets. His tutors think he is capable of far far more and so do we. The subjects he loves are Music, History and RE - good grades, subject he hates that he is really really good at Maths - excellent grade, all other subjects he finds boring and said he doesn't see the point to them.

His i-pod has been banished to weekends only and his phone will go too.
