Oooh I love revels Fluffs. I normally cop for the coffee ones --> me being sick!

TotalChaos · 08/07/2010 19:26

Not sure if Thornton still does bags of coffee creams, they do various other cappucino type truffles.

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 19:29

total - i buy my gran 2 bags of those coffee creams every birthday / christmas she loves them (i buy her another present too else she'd get mighty bored )

Mintrels! Stop it! God, I could eat a mouldy tramp.

Mmmmm, curry is ready, along with homemade garlic naans and an ice cold glass of Cobra.

I am a lucky lady indeed. MrMouse has a fab cock is a fab cook!!

I'm dying my hair later, so much grey! Warm Chocolate Brown, L'Oreal 10 minute one but I always have to leave it longer as it doesn't cover the grey.

I'm going to epliate my legs too and who knows, I might even mow the lawn!!!

Give MrMouse a treat!

I know, TMI but you love it!!!!!

I don't do coffee flavoured things or coffee bleurgh! DH thinks I'm odd as I cannot stand bananas or strawberries but I like banana/strawberry flavoured things

Ooo good are we talking about cocks already? I was at a birthday party last year & we all got talking about cocks (as you do) & if the size has anything to do with the build of a chap, DH is a very slight build but is rather well endowed this in not such a polite way rather loudly just as the music went quiet. I looked like this & MrNorma looked like this

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 19:42

May I be a bore & ask some more iPhone questions? Ok... ring tones, can you use your music files as a ring tone? Text alerts, are they ok or naff? Is it an easy phone to use even for the technically challenged as I'm rather pap at 'puters & the like. Is it easy to use email on? Do you get anything come through to the phone to tell you, you have an email or do you just have to log in? Apps, how do they work? Are the expensive & are they easy to download?

Erm.....I think that'll do me for now

DH thinks I should get the Nokia X6 because it has free Sat Nav built in but I'm leaning towards the iPhone because I can get a Cath Kidston hard backed casing for it

bellavita · 08/07/2010 20:03

Ring tones - music fles - NO

Text alerts - not sure what you mean, but when I get a txt it shows straight up on the screen.

Technically challenged - YES! I am one of those.

It dings when you get an email if you have push notifications turned on and also it shows on your envelope there are massages.

Apps - yes easy to download, most of the ones we have were free, but generally range from
70p to £2.99.

PortiaNovmerriment · 08/07/2010 20:05

I think that you can only use the usual apple ringtones, which is a bit of a shame, unless you jailbreak the phone, which invalidates the warantee.

Text alerts v discreet.

Stupendously easy to use- I have never looked at any instructions.

Email super easy, and yes, you can set it to alet you, no logging in required, you just open it and hit reply.

Simple apps button, but you need an itunes account- no biggier. Many of them are free, and frankly amazing.

I use google maps as a sat nav on it, no problem. There is probably an app though.

Do it do it, they are things of beauty!

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 20:13

I want and iphone but can't get one as I don't work.....

Apparently, full time carer for your disabled son doesn't count.

Oh My God I love coffee creams!!!!! Oh dear God I could just eat them, and eat them, and eat them.

Thorntons do a bag of coffee creams and they are lush!

So yesterday I went to slimming world and started all over again. I am one and a half stone heavier than I was when I last went there in January I'm starting over though so can forget that. My leader lady gave me a new book and new target at no extra cost, she just said she was glad to see me back. She is lovely

I over ate yesterday, however, all I over ate were slimming world hi-fi cereal bars so i'm claiming a victory

How is everyone?

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 20:16

I'm liking the sound of it more & more, so I can get Sat Nav on it through google maps? One that talks to you or one that you have to read?

Bum that you can't use your music files as a ring tone, can you download any ring tones or can you only use the ones that are in the phone?

Sorry text alert, I meant as in noise it makes when you get a text, are they pap? When you say the text shows up on your screen do you mean it displays the entire message without opening it?

Am I right in thinking it has an ipod within the phone itself?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 08/07/2010 20:16

Oh fuckity fuck, took a booking months ago forgot to write it down for some unknown reason so now have a freanch fmaily staying in our room and DD's room, DD is sharing with DS and we are on playroom floor. Never mind.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 08/07/2010 20:16

HEELLLLOOOOOOOOO .

How the devil are you all?

I have come on to apologise. I am so useless these days that I think I can probably be only a once or twice a week poster. So much work and so little time (isn't that phrase supposed to have 'men' in it? something wrong there ).

I also have to confess to those of you that sponsored me to lose weight. I lost 6lb then have not lost a blardy thing since! I am very sorry. I will return the money via Justgiving (I'm sure you can do that can't you). It is just too hard holding down a full time job and losing weight (am managing to maintain though so that's good).

I am now having a lovely slurp of wine and trying to relax for about 20 mins before I go to bed knackered. I'm happy though, just overworked.

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 20:19

I don't work either Mouse but AFAIK I can get one, nothing I can see that says I can't??

Good on you for getting back to it Jaq, best of luck you can do it

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 08/07/2010 20:22

No, I must not get an iphone!

Fluff, glad it wasn't bad news about your dad.

Jaq, you sound very positive and your slimming world lady sounds lovely.

Coffee creams? - meh, don't really like chocolate.

I've got one like that double - if I could buy mud coloured clothes I'd save a fortune.

Norma, DH was gutted when he had to swap his work's Blackberry for an i-phone, at first he really wasn't keen. Now I keep finding him playing with it (the i-phone!) and he even downloaded a Vuvuzuela bloody app! He is converted I think.

Jac, you stick with us mate, you are doing so well and we need Jacboot back to get us exercising, lovely to have you back

Mycat!!!! Lovely to see you too, don't be daft about sponsorship you great galaa (in a Home and Away manner), no worries. How is work going?

Fanny, oh no! Hope you have airbeds???

Tesco have Chablis down to £5 a bottle. Rude not to I think Don't tell Hells!

Mittz · 08/07/2010 20:41

Hello .. lolling at you gadget girls and your iphones..

Not a coffee flavour lover, lemon anything though.

MyCat, what a delight and a pleasure to see you, how are things? xx

I have to work, really really busy. I think half the people in Derbyshire are walking around naked.. .

I am so looking forward to some DC free time this weekend. I am thinking of getting up early on saturday again and going and carving on some rocks where it is a popular thing to do. Pack a breakfast and have a go..

How 's DEM, and where's GiGi?

Absolutely bloody amazing you guys are. I love you all xx

Mittz · 08/07/2010 20:43

God, we have each others children DI.. You are describing my DC's. DS... issues.. he gives new depth of meaning to the word and DD is like a tornado - With constant narration!

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 20:45

double - can you do one of your mad oirish posts for me please? I was trying to explain them to dp and i couldnt then i tried to find one to read to him to illustrate my point and you've been relatively sane recently.

So could you just do an insane poetic one please

Fanny - shit!!!!!!!

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 08/07/2010 20:49

Not a coffee cream lover here either. Nor strawberry cream. But butterscotch YUMMM!

I'm doing well thanks Mittz and Lizzy. Just a lot of work. I need to work in London and Warwick a bit and I live in Gloucester and I worked out on Tuesday that 2 days into the week I had done 8hrs worth of travelling too and from work. My carbon footprint is now nearly as big as my bum (hoooggge!)

Honestly, I can't take people sponsorship money when I'm being so useless at losing weight. I want to but everytime I get below 13st I have this weird thing where I eat again til I'm back up to 13st. It must be a comfort thing or something! Ah well, such is life, I'm not looking bad on it these days and a lot better than I did when I was 17st 5lb.

Anyway, enough of me. I really hope your all well. Had a little text chat with Sazz/Crispy yesterday and we're going to meet up in the pub when she's back from hols.
