Alice, I have been to the post office, dvds on their way.

I was planning on salmon steaks with new pots and green beans for dinner, but I am starving. It may not cut it.

DidEinsteinsMum · 08/07/2010 15:58

No sure i want to know what fluff has done to her arse.

painkillers have helped. just need that thing that becomes mythical when you are a parent rest so am letting ds lose on the lego website. Which will garantee peace and quiet for ages. bad mummy

I am definetly sick of ear ache. Got in both ears and have had for over a week. stupid hayfever. I blame the plants. Its all their fault.

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 16:01

im really weirded out and you're going to think im stupid but i was on phone to my mum and her mobile starts going it was my dad ringing, he said ring me back when you get off the phone. he'd been at hospital for some tests on his stomach. thing is mum said he'd been goneb hours and why was he ringing her when he'd be back in 15 mins anyway they only live that far away from hospital. so i just rang back and line is engaged. but my parents never speak on the phone to each other because of the cost (even though they're well off) because they used to be poor so dont do anything like that eg leave lights on etc. ive just got a really weird feeling sorry.

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 16:02

Lizzy - Are you on the pill? Could you not take it without a break to you don't come on?

Forget that. I'm sure if you were, you would and therefore not need to hurry Aunt Flo's visit along!!!!

Well, no joiner or electrician as yet. Do you think either will show?

I shall show my arse in Burton's window if they do!!!!

bloody hell dem you do not sound well poppet.

dp said yesterday hes going to take mole to his mother on sunday and dd1 will be out at with her dad so i'll actually get 4 hours CHILD FREE. Thing is its so rare these days i'll waste most of it trying to fit everything in, do i sleep? make stuff? watch stuff? bath and do hair? tidy? etc etc.

sorry have gone manic while freakedabout dad.

my dear friend's fil died two weeks ago and then the grandad (widows father) exactly a week later, funeral today, so her husband is very upset and then a month ago another of our friend's dads died and now hes just announced his divorce from our other friend (the 6 of us are friends if that makes sense).

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 16:06

Fluffs - I think I've made sense of that. Your dad called you whilst you were on the phone to mum?

Dad says call me back when you've finished with mum?

Mum says why is he calling you, he should be here by now?

Now the landline is engaged or dad's mobile?

Are you ok?

I'll wait here with you.

DEM - sorry you're still struggling x

mouse - god i hate tradesmen seriously what is wrong with them?? they never turn up when they say they will its really weird and so rude! i am for you.

next step in the butt saga - im going to try the salad cream on something random, thereby cutting out the risk it could be the salad.

it is weird though thats its only the meals dp prepares that i get ill from (he makes me lunch and puts in fridge every day before goes to work)

wheres shiney??

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 16:14

mouse - nope but close

im on phone to my mum, he calls her on her mobile because landline was engaged (as she was talking to me)tells her to ring him back when shes free. but hes just left hospital and she was expecting him back ages ago.

tried ringing them again just and she answered said she cant get hold of him but will ring me when hes back.

its probably nothing, or something like he wanted to know if she wanted him to get dinner.

but he had a triple bypass 10 odd years ago and has had stents since then, his sister died of a heart attack couple of years after triple bypass, his brother had a heart attack at 38 and then a triple bypass and their father died at 47 of a massive heart attack. no idea why im freaking out just think that recently everytime phone goes someone is either dead or divorced.

Sorry im all ranty.

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 16:17

No idea where Shiney is.....

Hmm, so what could be in salad cream to make you poo for England? Is it the low fat one? Are there any sweetners in there?

Has your dad called/you called him back?

TotalChaos · 08/07/2010 16:20

fluff - as you may know I work in hospital admin - if he was having the actual tests carried out today it's unlikely that he'll have had any news today - as normally the department that does the tests is separate from the consultant's offices, and so the test results get sent through for the consultant to review, which can take from a day or two to a few weeks.

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 16:21

Fluffs - X posted.

Don't be so bloody daft woman, I'd worry too! Given all that you're dad has been through! xx

And yes, tradesMEN are fuckwits!!!!

OP posts:
DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 16:27

total - thank you, im sure you're right. the problem is i have no idea what he was going for, he has a frozen shoulder which has had loads of investigations and they've now said they're going to operate and then he had a bad stomach (like mine actually!) and they said they thought he had a hernia so hes had lots of tests but i dont know whether today was a results appt or a test one.

i bet the bugger just wanted to ask my mum what was for dinner or something stupid.

its like miitz saying about your present and your past, we went through a period when everytime the phone rang someone was dead or rushed into hospital, makes you get all funny when the phone rings now.

anyway, will go and create havoc on fb and take my mind off it. im sure will be nothing.

bellavita · 08/07/2010 16:56

Hello

Fluffs, hope your dad is ok xx

Will it really be that bad Double?
