Alice straighten it, you'll feel happier when you've done it

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 10:26

norma - everything i think, goes on web, camera, apps etc, was the equivalent to the iphone but on my network (vodafone) took a while to get used to (i was diehard nokia) but love it now. its run on 'android'.

rang garage, they've seen car now and it was the bloody new part they put in yesterday was faulty!! So they're fixing for free, I said 'err duh!!'

want to straighten my hair but its too hot and im currently just sweating all over it.

doing butt tests today So far have had feta and cucumber - all fine. At lunch am having salad and salad cream but no cheese, if ill after that will know its the salad cream. If not, then will assume the cheese. Or that bastard dp.

Ooh, get you double!

I was going to have some soup for lunch, but the chicken and barley didn't even last until dinner and DH took the rest of the carrot and coriander to work with him. Better than chucking loads out I suppose, I don't seem able to make a small amount of soup.

Mmm, soup. I love soup. We have tonnes of basil too, I gave it a haircut today and put a load onto some chicken to marinade.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 08/07/2010 11:33

No worries Saf.

Trills, I love soup and I find making it really theraputic. I can't remember the last time I threw any food waste - all goes in the soup pot.

TrillianAstra · 08/07/2010 11:34

There is a pub in a village a little way out from us where they have a big pot of soup on the go all the time. There is no flavour, you just ask what colour the soup is today and have a guess

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 11:38

I love soup but it's too hot, bran flakes for lunch for me That sounds like a fab idea Trills, do you ever get it right?

TrillianAstra · 08/07/2010 11:45

No-one ever knows if they get it right, it largely tastes of 'brown' and they won't tell you what's in there

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 08/07/2010 11:51

Trills, Because I use up what ever is in the fridge, I never usually have a 'flavour' either.

It's a shame when I get a really yummy batch and can't replicate it.

Chicken soup is a staple though. You cannot beat home made chicken soup.

Afternoon, tis me Mouseface.

I'm coming live from my jail cell after successfully murdering MrMouse and burying him in the garden, under the weeping willow last night.

Kidding!

I have now caught up the best I can.

Alice - have a wonderful time today. You will look amazing!

SAF - we had the same issues with E-On when we left our other house. It was empty (before we rented it out) for 8 months and the said we owed them £400 plus for used gas. You can imagine my response can't you.

Crispy - great snog last night. Fab news about the cheque! Hoorah! Glad you have your part-time parenting assistant CBeebies back too. Vegies are fine and the take-away mark 2 was awesome!

Lizzy - clearly in recruitment we are two of a dying breed!

Fluffs - is it just cheese so far? Let me know how the tests go, could be dairy/lactose/cow's milk protein intolerant! And yes, you can just develop it at anytime of life. DS did.

Cars are a total nightmare when they go wrong but fuckwit mechanics don't help do they?

Portia - fab? As in FabIs...... oh dear. What's happened to lovely fab anyone?

Mittz - wow! You are amazing yourself. What you posted to Jet last night made me cry. What wonderful words. Just WOW!!

Yank - enjoy the gym. Hope all goes ok at the docs and that is lovely news about your XH.

Bella - I'm afraid a spanking is out of the question for MrMouse, he'd enjoy it far too much!!

Today is mostly being in pain. DS slept ok but I just could not settle, again. Can anyone recommend anything? A bath is a no-no as I can't physically get into it. Not a fan of warm milk. I try reading and that winds me down a bit.

It's like I have too much energy or something. Like I've got restless leg syndrome but all over...........

Hi Mouse xx

Chamomile tea, or a mix with Valerian in it? I'm in town late for a docs appointment so will have a look.. Have you tried a tens machine for pain or is it too little to tackle what you go through?

I down loaded a game onto my phone and play that until I am dropping off.. it works really well for me.

I've got ironing everywhere.. I may have to requisition one of the DC's rooms for space to put stuff.

I am tired because.... DD sleepwalks a little and I heard her get up last night, and after a few minutes I figured she was sleep furtling, so I got up to find her perched above an imaginary toilet weeing on the carpet. . I couldn't move her so surrounded her with towel, cleaned and dried her, had a cuddle and lead her back to bed. She patted me and gave me a really serene smile.

Cleaned it up, sprayed it with anti bacterial, threw a towel over it, and DS later woke and had to tell me there was a towel in the hallway.

Back to work... xx

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 12:38

Mittz darling lady, has you postman been today?

Mouseface · 08/07/2010 12:45

Mittz - Lovely, lovely Mittz.

DD sleep walks too. She's 11 and almost as tall as me so she scares the shit out of me when she does it. My heart pounds for ages.

I'm so scared about the house being broken into and being murdered in my own bed or my family being killed and not saving them.

Silly I know but it's like I have an overwhelming urge to protect them all and can't. So any bumps in the night really freak me out.

Sorry, anyway, DD is the same. Has wee'd on the carpet before now, set the old house alarm off, once opened the front door (which is now triple locked) and has even just sat in the middle of the kitchen floor, staring into space. She doesn't do it often. Usually when something is bothering her.

You're not supposed to wake them are you? I just lead her back to bed too. She never remembers. Bless her.

Yes please re looking for something to help. I've not tried anything yet. Struggling to get out this week. No physio as fully booked and MrMouse needs the car.

Vinny - when I type that, it reminds me of 'Allo 'Allo when the old chap used to say 'hello, it is I, LeClaire'

Not why I do it though. I did it when I very first posted on here and it just kinda stuck....... does it drive you mad?

Mittz, sorry but had to laugh at DS needing to tell you about the towel.

I hate ladypains. Why, after all these years, is it still surprising how much it hurts every month?

DeFluffy · 08/07/2010 12:57
