Night all. x

I've skimmed through but have barely registered anything other than Alice's baby has turned the right way, hooray!

Have to spend a lot of time cleaning this week as house is a tip since I went back to work and we have a sitter coming on Friday night because we are going to see Status Quo for DH's birthday (luckily it's a friend who'll do it for free!). His actual birthday is Sunday. Money is too tight to go out, so I've said I'll make him a nice dinner at home, whatever he likes.

Got GP appointments booked for next Thursday. It will be a family affair. I'm going for my ADs, DH is going for possible sleep apnoea, and I want DS evaluated for asthma (he's got such wheezy sounding breathing and cough that's been going on for weeks).

I think I stayed within my points today but too tired to fill the tracker in properly. I was offered biscuits and said no at least 3 times today, and the project manager brought in danishes that I didn't eat (but I can't take credit for turning those down as I don't like them!).

Gym tomorrow!

My XH sent me a thank you gift with a lovely note that says he is glad we are friends again and glad that I've found someone that makes me happy.

Sorry that mostly self absorbed posting is all I'm doing right now, hope to do a proper catch up at the weekend!

You are taking DH to see Status Quo for his birthday, Yank? What has he done to deserve that?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 08/07/2010 05:29

Good mornimg all/ First one here? Yep thought so.

Good news about your ex Yank.

bellavita · 08/07/2010 06:15

Morning.

Hi Fanny

Lovely post Mittz - jet please listen to Mittz

Yank, hope you have a lovely weekend. Glad to see you have got a gp appointment.

Mouse, MrM needs a good bleedin' spanking. One thing I can say that MrB does is ensure that everything I need techy wise is done. Hope you get it sorted.

Mwah mwah to you all.

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 07:30

Morning all,

Oooo Bella kisses, what a lovely way to start the day

wastingaway · 08/07/2010 07:30

Morning Fanny, morning Bella. You're both up early.

Yank that's lovely from XH. Hope the GP gets you all sorted.

Apologies for my self-indulgent whinging, it's difficult to stop when I get started.

AF arrived anyway, so I'm feeling better.

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 07:35

Oh Mittz, what a beautiful post you rock!

Jet, you are a wonderful, wonderful lady who has had to overcome some really shite stuff, but you are wonderful if only you could see yourself the way we all do!

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 07:36

Morning wasting, yay for feeling better (even if it does mean the evil witch is visiting)

Alicetheinvisible · 08/07/2010 07:44

Morning

Can't stop, no time to catch up, house is a tip, family coming over, afternoon at the races......

Be back later

Lizzylou · 08/07/2010 07:47

Can I just say how utterly fab you lot are?

Some amazingly inspiring words from Double and Mittz and, well, you lot rock, you really do.

I am still disappointed that I didn't get my dream final (Holland would beat Germany on penalties then all the Germans would cry including their ridiculous "Man at C&A" manager who I have taken a complete disliking to) but it was a risky dream anyway, they could have won!

SAF, have you thought about tutoring? One of my friends does that (think BOF does too), round here we have a fab Grammar school and so lots of people hothousing kids for 11+. You need to be CRB checked, you could do it from home perhaps? We all care about you and miss you when you don't post.

Bitter, you are so much more than "an overweight loser who works in a supermarket", you are not even overweight, certainly not a loser and loads of women have to do a job they may be overqualified for when they have kids, your time will come!

Sooo, bit gloomy today, have some jeans on that were waay too tight but they're fine and DH was very complimentary last night so have a little skip in my step.

Lizzylou · 08/07/2010 07:48

Yank, I am soo pleased you and exDH are on good terms, hope you are good.

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 07:48

Norma - tea please

Yank, hurrah for your night out. You guys deserve it

Glad you are feeling better Wasting

Fanny, why up quite SO early. all ok?

Am still LOL'ing at Mouse kicking takeaway boys ass and burying MrMouse. No less than deserved and i hope you haven't needed to disturd the veggie patch

Delicately air kisses snogs Bella

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 07:50

Have a good day Alice!

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 07:52

Enjoy the races Alice

Helllooooooo sexy slim Lizzy

NormaSknockers · 08/07/2010 07:53

Yay to your skip in step Lizzy

Lizzylou · 08/07/2010 08:00

Oh oh oh, best news is, as I am finishing my Saturday job in September, we are thinking about getting a tent (if we enjoy tent life in France) and DH was very interested when I told him about Fanny's place! He suddenly didn't think I was a nutter for having internet mates
It helps that we have recently seen loads of programmes on TV about Dorset and he's been saying he really wants to go there.

Oh and Fluffy, I am worried about how similar we are, I always thought Newcastle was Northwest as well

wastingaway · 08/07/2010 08:03

Hello Norma, Crispy and Lizzy.

Have fun Alice!

Tutoring sounds a very good idea Lizzy. Doesn't Portia do that?

CrispyTheCrisp · 08/07/2010 08:09

Lizzy - have a look on my last set of pics on FB. There are a number of tent ones which make it look very civilised if DH needs persuading

Ta Norma

Lizzylou · 08/07/2010 08:09

She does, Wasting, good morning to you too.
Oh, weather report for you, it is gloomy here but seems to be brightening up a bit

Lizzylou · 08/07/2010 08:11

OOh I will Crispy, he seems very keen though, he likes the idea of just being able to pack up and go places (as do I). Let's just see how we do in France though!
