Morning

Was going to say something, but can't remember what erm...... I was sure it was important too

Anyway, 35weeks today!!!! Only 5 weeks to go fuck

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 08:07

I don't understand why people believe such horseshit (sorry!)

Yay Alice that's excellent news, really, really fab (that was always where I aimed to get as was told it's much safter once there) Yippee

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 08:11

Thanks Norma

Don't talk to me about that thread her first thread felt really wrong too, and it is getting more and more unbelievable and only now are people questionning it? Some posters on MN have so much to deal with in RL, they don't need this shite on here.

Lizzylou · 05/07/2010 08:15

Morning all

Alice, 35weeks, woohoo! How brilliant, you've done so well.

Vinny, have seen video and photos, lovely, how proud are you? Lovely lad you've got there (though he does look like your brother, you look so freshfaced).

How was your birthday Norma?

Went to a Turkish restaurant with the boys yesterday evening, ummm, will gloss over that. But it was nice.

We were trying to wear em out,m but despite a big dinner and a later bedtime they still woke before 6am, am exhausted.

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 08:18

I had a really lovely day thanks Lizzy

Oh dear, was it a stressful meal out? Typical that the DSs still woke up early, where do kids find the energy?

Off to so the nursery run I will be a sweaty mess by the time I get back

TotalChaos · 05/07/2010 08:30

so I take it the romantic proposal went v well Vinny

Alice - 35 weeks yay - of course you must be particularly pissed off as this creepy thing is claiming a similar stage of gestation to you.....I saw the first one, and had a fimbling feeling so steered clear, I think once people have been on here a while you start to get a bit of a subconscious emotional vampire troll filture so don't even click on.

morning norma, and belated happy birthday wishes

TrillianAstra · 05/07/2010 08:38

Congrats on 35 weeks Alice

bellavita · 05/07/2010 08:42

Well done Alice x

Lizzy, wait till they get to DS1's age - can't/won't get out of bed!! DS2 is a poppet, never moans that he is tired or cannot get up.

DreamsInBinary · 05/07/2010 08:44

Morning all

Mittz · 05/07/2010 08:53

Yayy for Alice and Vinny

wastingaway · 05/07/2010 08:58

Alice, 35 weeks is awesome!

Total, that's so true.

Lizzy, will they not go downstairs and watch telly now? Don't shatter my illusions!

I have Shredded and have in no way phoned it in today.

880 steps so far today according to the pedometer too, not too shabby.

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 09:10

i am so hungover, i didnt feel that drunk though, but i have a very sore head

the proposal was perfect, he did it just before the party started, he told all the people who he wanted to be there (me, his dad, a few of his closest friends) to get to the party early before everyone else started to arrive

Then he called everyone in the house and told them to find a seat as he was about to show her present, she was looking very and saying whats going on

Then he played the dvd, the menu background music was 'i got a feeling' by black eyed peas, there was a slideshow of pictures of him and her playing to Kings of Leon - 'Use somebody like you', then he played another slideshow of pics of just her to Billy Joel's 'your always a woman to me'

By the time it ended, everyone was crying, his dad was in tears (always was a cry baby ) and her mum and dad were too, so everyone clapped and cheered and she got up and hugged him

then he said, i have another little present for you... and got on one knee, then said her full name and will you marry me and she said yes

it was my proudest moment to date

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 09:11

Total - I am sure that when i first read her threads there was a difference between our pg stages. Just a bit Also think i am more aware of people milking for sympathy, after a lovely girl on our antenatal thread lost her baby a couple of weeks ago. Real life trauma doesn't leave a great deal of time for mnetting does it really?

Haven't been on FB yet, but going to look at Vinny's pics in a minute.

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 09:12

Vinny - that sounds lovely

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 09:13

Alice 35 weeks woohoo, that must be such a relief!

VinnyTheTit · 05/07/2010 09:18

bitter i dont think we are FB friends, if you add me, you can see the proposal on my profile, i am vinegar tits on fb

bellavita · 05/07/2010 09:20

Sounds just perfect Vinny.

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 09:21

Beautiful Vinny, I have goosebumps What a lovely couple they make too!

Alicetheinvisible · 05/07/2010 09:24

Norma, no the boys were fab at the restaurant, we were in stitches at them, very good company. IT was more at the amount and what I ate...but it was lovely.

Wasting, well done for not phoning it in

We don't let them go downstairs yet, they are easier to keep an ear out for upstairs, they just bicker a bit too much yet a while.

Am sooo tired, back to work though...

NormaSknockers · 05/07/2010 09:44

It was a meal out so it's always less calories then when you eat at home

wastingaway · 05/07/2010 09:44

I used to go downstairs at 6am and watch telly (and drink coffee dregs ) by about 4/5 I think. Mum is not a morning person.

I just assume my childhood was normal.
