I haven't been avoiding you, internet was down yesterday and we were out nearly all day (yeah i know, excuses, excuses )

Anyhow, Ikea was fab for the first half as usual, then by the second half it was hot and we were all a bit tired and but got things we wanted, spent nearly £300

Got the form through for DD's preschool yesterday, AIBU to think that somewhere my DD will be going to learn should know the difference between accept and except?

Anyhow, have a fab day ladies, i have a chocolate bomb to make for my dad this morning and have to ikea up my house a bit

vinny/bella- so sad what some young people have to go through, life can be very unfair.

alice - make sure you ikea in an unstrenuous sort of way!

yank - sorry you are feeling blue. it's a bugger having a long-term mh problem that rears its head at inconvenient moments. you've had such an exhausting round of illnesses as a family that will have taken it out of you too.

double - have a fab childfree weekend, if you are not too busy travelling to be reading

bitter - hope you are OK. am very much a believer in the fluffy approach - i.e sort yourself out or get the hell out -adult people have to taken responsibility.

I'm good Shiney, are you well?

DH getting ready to go away til Monday. Fingers crossed for productive trip.
No idea what me and DS will be doing this weekend.
We shan't be doing pub lunch on Sundays anymore due to economic downturn and not sure what everyone has in mind. Hanging out in the garden seems the most sensible course of action.

What is everyone up to this weekend?

I may do some DIY actually Alice.
Make sure you're in charge of sorting all the screws and bits out, and interpreting the instructions.

Hanging out in the back garden is always a god plan especially with a good book for you & a bowl of water for the DC to amuse themselves with

Supposed to be going on a picnic for my birthday tomorrow but the weather forecast isn't looking all that great, but we shall wait & see!
