Sorry to post and run, DS woke up.

Really I'm fine, yes he's acting like a shit but life isn't meant to be a bed of roses. I was just having a whinge, didn't mean to bring the mood down.I'm beig enough and ugly enough to look after myself, believe me.

Feel free to have a drink on my behalf Saf, and hurry up with that child shrinker - it's going to make us our millions.

Why SAF?

Bella.. I bought a detox tea and have one every morning and night, but I also bought a Colon Cleansing Solution . It is Aloe Vera based, I put it in my fruit/detox tea and just lost that feeling that is similar to when you have had a few days eating rubbish. Sluggish and slow sort of thing.

The changes are similar to when I lost my initial 4 st. A little extra exercise, swap a tea for a herbal tea, an extra glass of water. Have given up Lattes and most cake. But I do it a little at a time so it is less noticeable and more a lifestyle change. I did so well, it is a shame I put some of it back on, but I am very much an emotional eater.

My stomach is flatter and less...ermm...blancmangey IYSWIM

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 02/07/2010 20:57

Yay for flatter stomach Mittz.

Does the detox tea taste awful? I almost want things like that to taste terrible so it feels like it's good for me.

bellavita · 02/07/2010 21:08

A colon cleansing solution

I will add the tea to my next lot of shopping.

Mittz · 02/07/2010 21:20

No, it's not too awful Bitter...I sometimes add a fruit tea to give it a bit more body but certainly drinkable. I know what you mean about tastes though.

SAF,, shame about the flapjack, could you dip it in dark chocolate to make it more palatable?

Life can be so unfair Vinny, I am so sorry for your friend and son. Healing vibes to him xx

wastingaway · 02/07/2010 21:21

Hey lovelies, so sorry to hear about all the and days.

I am busy busy.

In on topic news, I am remaining sugar-free-free and have set up the pedometer I bought approx. 5 years ago.

Mittz, that sounds a very sensible approach. Weren't you a vegger? Did the large quantities of fruit and veg help?

Tracey, I'm not sure about that leggings for any size theory. Do I have to wear the maxi skirt with the leggings?

More crafting to do now, oh yes.

DreamsInBinary · 02/07/2010 21:22

Traceybath - welcome back

I loved the suggestions you posted on my 'what to wear' thread yonks ago, by the way, and am super pleased with the silvery grey NL blazer.

wastingaway · 02/07/2010 21:22

Oh, I've got a £15 pounds off Ocado voucher, Anyone recommend anything particularly good?
As in, if you only did one Ocado shop ever, what would you get?

DreamsInBinary · 02/07/2010 21:25

I am bizarrely drawn to the colon-cleansing tea, Mittz. In fact, I would really like to have that thing where they power-hose water up your bum and leave you all clean.

bellavita · 02/07/2010 21:28

DIB

DreamsInBinary · 02/07/2010 21:31

Not for kicks Bella !!!

Colonic irrigation - that's the one.

wastingaway · 02/07/2010 21:33

Ooh, I've had that. Waste of money. But I guess it might be that my guts were healthy so I didn't need it.
It did teach me about my insides though, locate the colon, and learn how to massage it if I had a poorly tummy.

Mittz · 02/07/2010 21:36

I was a vegger wasting and yes, building up to the 10 a day is quite good.

It's this DIB, maybe not the hosepipe effect but definitely worked for me..........

wastingaway · 02/07/2010 21:40

That looks quite good, cleansing and calming.

Evening everyone....feeling a bit better today, I am fighting the depression off I think. It seems different every day, sometimes I feel almost 'normal', then one little thing will send me into a tailspin! I'll probably go to the GP next Friday when I've got the day off.

I have had a skim but not really properly catching up, my eyes are achy from staring at computer screens all day!

Thank you for the kind words, I love you guys. People are usually very surprised when I say I've got this recurrent major depression and have had to be on ADs since I was 16. Sometimes I wonder if I have manic depression because I can be so 'up' and happy, and then my lows are so dramatically different.

Those that met me, you wouldn't recognise me at all if you saw what I was like during the bad times. Too shy/insecure to speak above a whisper, practically housebound with anxiety, not answering the door or phone, sleeping 16 hours a day, etc. I know it doesn't sound possible, and it can be kind of embarrassing to admit this stuff because you never know when someone will say/think 'FGS pull yourself together and stop whinging'. I am incredibly lucky to be married to someone who is very patient and understanding (mainly because he's got his own anxiety/depression problems).

I will now stop whinging.

DeFluffy · 02/07/2010 21:50

wasting what you crafting?

5 more mins of etsy loading then off to bed, potentially for a re match although, one of you has put me off with the thought that dp might be poking the goddamn WOMB

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 02/07/2010 21:52
