Sorry we have been so busy, sorting out the garden, and overrun with guests. Upadate on BIL, FIL sent us a check for £2k and he says he will add it to what BIL owes him, means we can pay the diesel bill, and DC's nursery fees and cashflow is speeding up now that the sun is shining. So all is getting better.

Just dropping in to say hello. I've been having a bad time mentally lately (I think I've probably said before I take ADs for depression that's gone on more than half my life).

I am in one of those moods where I feel like a total failure. Trying to fight it off, but it didn't help yesterday when this git project manager said in front of an entire room full of people that I didn't know how to do my job. He was totally wrong and I stood up for myself, and the others stuck up for me as well (and the git has been told off by the other manager). But I was on shakey ground already and it threw me. I should have a proper career. I should have finished my master's degree. I shouldn't have taken this crappy job. I should have done something else with my life. I shouldn't leave my son in a nursery every day to go to a job I hate. I shouldn't have so much debt (or I should at least have something to show for it). I should be nicer to DH and not so snappy. I shouldn't have let myself get so fat.

Basically the thoughts go on from there and I can't stop them. I might have to go get my dosage increased or something.

There is nothing anyone can say to make it better, so though I appreciate it, please don't worry about trying. I will get my cheerfulness/confidence back eventually. I always do. But I might disappear for a while to get myself together.

I have an induction at the gym next Tuesday. And I lost another pound, but I think it is because I've had diarrhoea for the last 2 days (not sure why, stress maybe).

Oh, Fanny, I am so glad for you, crap what he did but at least FIL is doing the decent thing. Glad you are busy but wish it didn't keep you from the thread x

The Toms are still here. DC's are totally besotted with Little Tom, who has disproved the theory that men can't multitask as DD talked to hom solidly for an hour and a half the other afternoon and he still manage dto crack on with brick laying. I will post some photos soon or ask Crispy to.
