yank - could have written your second paragraph myself word for word. I wish someone had explained to me when i was younger that debt had to be paid back = really good wage all goes on repayments each month = stuck in job can't leave due to finances = child in nursery = arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Anyway, just to let you know i totally sympathise.

Only thing i can think of is to keep thinking of the future and work out a plan. And no i havent got round to that yet

Thank you Wasting - they're my ticket out of my job. If I can sell 400 a month then I'll nearly earn enough to give up work

night all you tired people, im going back to uploading brooches, yawn.

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 22:45

It has taken me forever to catch up, but first things first:

Mittz - children can be cruel, cruel, cruel, and I'm so sorry that DS is taking the hit.

Yank - I can hardly believe such a vibrant fabulous woman can feel down. I'm sorry the black dog has visited, and hope he fucks off soon. (Did I say you are fabulous?)

There are few things I enjoy as much as a birth story - give me one sec...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/07/2010 22:48

Right, night all.

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 22:48

Fluffy - you need to get checked out for a prolapse, my lovely. They are v common (20% of births acc to MW) and can often be totally reversed with regular pelvic floor exercises. Physio also suggested that sex was v good as it (cover eyes now) "pushed things back into place"

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 22:56

First birth - baby with head the size of a football, meconium in water, epidural, episiotomy and ventouse. Third degree tear and 90 mins in surgery. Bizarrely, fanjo felt fine within a few weeks!

Second birth - first twinge to birth three hours. Gas & air and only second degree tear. Minor prolapse resolved by the time the physio appt came through (6 months - not covered by company private health ).

Second was in a MW-led hospital and was pretty great.

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 23:00

Hahahaha at 'posh'

You know I'm Welsh, right

Shiney's voice is higher on the phone than in rl, and she is super posh. As is Trills. Hells' voice - despite what she may say - is lovely and just how you would imagine.

TrillianAstra · 01/07/2010 23:03

You don't talk Welsh, you talk posh!

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 23:06

How is Mr Trills ebjoying his newish job? He was unsure at the start, I think?

TrillianAstra · 01/07/2010 23:07

Mr Trills has amazingly been in the newish job nearly 6 months, and is enjoying it soooooo much more than before. Nice team, better structured and better led, and doing more proper researchy stuff. Plus he recently got to test out and negotiate the price of a machine that does Western blots for you!

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 23:13

Good lord! Western blots!

DH has just come in from smoking outside (norty) and god I want one.

TerryWogansCock · 01/07/2010 23:16

DeFluffy · 01/07/2010 23:21

DreamsInBinary · 01/07/2010 23:24

It prob is nothing. Actually, even if it is a p then it's still prob nothing.

Sorry.

DeFluffy · 01/07/2010 23:26

Morning Norma, coffee please.

Double, I think people think that children are mundane and therefore not important.
There's nothing more mundane than breathing though, and it's rather important wouldn't you say?

A bowl of malties and half a yoghurt for breakfast this morning.
No shred, it's children's centre morning.

NormaSknockers · 02/07/2010 07:41

Mmmmmm they sound lovely Double

Wasting what a fab way to put that, I have a "friend" who finds children dull & inconvience. She has a DC herserlf which makes it all the more sad
