Healthy thread focussing on cock and cake finding the method that suits you whilst enjoying some cheery banter and googling obscene veg!

I am Mitts... hello xx

Hmm....let me see.

As The Anglegrinder I have the power to cut through crime and save the day!

Will think of some more.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 16:17

Hmm, difficult to think what I would be.

My super powers are speed reading, cleaning and I make the best sandwiches.

My Mum was nicknamed 'Buffet the hunger slayer' by my friends when I was a teen, maybe I should nick that?

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 16:21

Ooooohhh - yes Bitter!!!

Fabulous name for you and carrying on the tradition too

PortiaNovmerriment · 29/06/2010 16:22

Very clever name, I like it.

Ds is happy. As he has been so good, i want to finish lego, and cba to cook for 5pm tea. He has been provided with digestive biscuits, small bowl of runout icing, 2 different types of colouring suitable and milk free sprinkles. he is a sticky mess but having a whale of a time. cheap treat too

ds did his spelling walking home from school.

Did anyone else see the scale thread re reception reports. Am very curious to see what he scores. But mostly where his social skill come in relation to academic... How well have we dealt with that area, and how much more work do we need to do?

LizzyLOU · 29/06/2010 16:30

Afternoon, now it's glorious sunshine.

Double, you sound like a girl after my own heart, or what I would be like if DH didn't insist on no smoking

I have another superhero one, The Girth, that should draw him out

LizzyLOU · 29/06/2010 16:31

We used to minesweep all the time as students...jaysus knows what we drank.

double - i hope you dont think i was bragging Believe me, i have done my fair share of not having money for new furniture as well - at one time we had one chair between the three of us But, sorry if i came across as insensitive.

Bitter - i love the Buffy nick name

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 16:58

I need to eat my delicious trout and go to work.

Catch up with you later, have a lovely evening.

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 17:08

Portia - replied

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 17:41

I'm quitting Dukan tomorrow.

I'm really off to work. See you later.

TotalChaos · 29/06/2010 17:42

((mousey)) squidge, I didn't see the thread in question, but am sorry it's been triggery and bringing back bad memories, I hope you have a more peaceful night.

jet - enjoy the new sofa , hope you can sort out more nursery hours.

alice - I hope you spend lots of time in the CAFE at IKEA rather than traipsing round.

TotalChaos · 29/06/2010 17:45

but DU KAN'T give it up!

sorry, couldn't resist the pun. it sounds rather expensive, all that protein

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 17:46

Bitter - why?

I know you can't answer.....doh, you're going to work!

TC - thank you. it just hit home, lots. I never really talk about it, and never did at the time.

Still haven't so maybe it's time I did.

Jet - new sofa! Yay.

TrillianAstra · 29/06/2010 17:48

I love carbs, could never do Dukan. Just had some innocent smoothie, it is yum. My lakeland lolly moulds are full of frozen orange juice in the freezer now.

thanks double, i was sure you would be fine - just checking

Although, the appeal is slightly wearing off now, as mini keeps racing up to the pouffe and body surfing it (lamniate floor, so very slippy!)

Junior has just come back from her second ever paper round, a more challenging 5 streets this time - but she managed it in less time than last

Bitter - you were doing so well with Dukin - what happened?

CrispyTheCrisp · 29/06/2010 18:43

Evening all

Sorry to have been MIA, but having had DH's birthday BBQ this weekend i have been wiped out since Thurs . All went off well and weather fab. Diet slightly broken. Oops

Good news is that i bought a new car today, pick up on Friday. Tis exactly the same as the old one, except it is silver, so call me boring . Still no news on the insurance but i had to bite the bullet

Hope everyone is well on doing the Dukan/WW/Lord and shredding for Office World. Hopefully i can keep up a bit now

Alicetheinvisible · 29/06/2010 18:44

My superhero name would be the Weeble atm

I am looking forward to ikea for lots of reasons

a)whole journey with air con
b)looking at lovely things
c)cheap hot dogs at the end

Now going to try out new shower, then have roast chicken, new pots and salad, then out for a drink with friends.
