That thread put me in mind of arranging a fight by the bus stop after school.
We could all have met up and shouted "Fight Fight Fight"

I am not a dog lover at all, and my suspicions have been confirmed about the owners of some type of dogs

It was great, wasn't it?
Never seen anything like it

Am hungry...should I have my rice cakes now? Then I can run at middday, have a call to make at 1pm...yep I'm going to go wild.

Shit, I forgot to eat breakfast

Mittz · 27/05/2010 11:11

I started a thread about dogs once.. within about 5/6 posts it had kicked off..

I deserted my own thread sharpish.

I might start a thread.. ''I was breastfeeding my son Tarquin who has SN in a park when a dog not on a lead licked my shoe, as a SAHM on benefits I can't afford to get them cleaned, the owners have a 4x4, should they pay for new shoes for me?''

Sorry, friend popped round.

I posted on the dog thread early on and have half been following it but for some reason threads with animals always wind me up. You get complete loons on them. The one about the gerbil and the menacing look is funny however....

wastingaway · 27/05/2010 13:06

Urgh. I've had a big lunch, but I was feeling faint. Think it's the tiredness. I've got that feeling like my body has gone to sleep.

Still plenty cals left for the day, but need to choose wisely.

What are the most filling foods for the least calories?

hellsbelles · 27/05/2010 13:15

Alice - you can use all this energy to become the queen of MN...you can get the highest posting points ever and perhaps be awarded something (err...mooncup, boden vouchers and some fruit shoots ).

Things I meant to do on bedrest (but was too busy paranoid googling so didn't)..sort out my digital photos and do some decent albums (you can get them printed into hard back books)...write a proper pregnancy journal and also do DS's baby book (he was 6 by this point!!)...meal planning, write a novel...read lots and lots of books, set up a blog and update it every day...is this helping or are they too bloody boring.

Kerry - happy birthday!

Trills - welcome back - sounds like a dream holiday apart from the squits.

Wasting - which Charlie Kaufman?

SAF - love the idea of a playsuit but juicy does have waggish connotations...I'll keep a look out for alternatives (Alice - love no. 1 - very cute). Very that you have the body for them. I would cause serious distress if I ever wore one!

Norma at laxative sweets!

Bitter - glad to hear you and DH had a lovely evening.

And lucky shiney et al getting all that shagging...I have AF so I'm not!

I'm sticking to being good and seem to be losing a llb a day...but I have a dinner out tonight so that might change.

hellsbelles · 27/05/2010 13:16

TC - meant to say - hope you are coping o.k. with sad news of friend.

wastingaway · 27/05/2010 13:19

Hells, it was Synecdoche, New York. I wasn't concentrated and got lost v. quickly.

Alicetheinvisible · 27/05/2010 13:21

Believe me Helles, i don't have the figure for a playsuit, however, i like to think that once this baby is out it will become my mission to get a body for such clothes (perhaps a mannequin? )

I like the idea of using my resting time for good, but am a bit like a bored child

hellsbelles · 27/05/2010 13:38

at mannequin Alice. I too was determined to do worthy things while bed resting - I didn't! But I did get through a lot of 24 . Actually what I did find helped a lot was a schedule of sorts (sounds bonkers). It stopped me drifting if that makes sense.

WAsting - seen that one too (if it's the one where he has an actor playing him in a film)....I had to work really hard to keep watching (and only did as DH had seen it and thought it fab)...

Lizzylou · 27/05/2010 13:41

NOt exercised today, my brother has called to say his fiance is pg! V early days but v happy for them. So then had to speak to my Mom who is thrilled...
Ah well, 1 day off won't hurt me, will it?

Alice, will sort out some DVDs and books, I promise, have to catch up with work now!
