I feel thinner after my five days of deprivation healthiness, but am too sxcared to weigh myself in case I have not lost a bean.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 13/05/2010 08:44

Morning.

Thanks Bella for prompting me about icelollies and yoghurt, need to add both to my delivery tomorrow.

Had tomatoes on toast for breakfast, about to sort some laundry and then going to work.

NormaSknockers · 13/05/2010 08:45

I'm on so many PKs I rattle when I walk

Hiya Fanny

hellsbelles · 13/05/2010 08:50

DEM - missed your post but I'm hoping that you managed to get some sleep last
night and that somehow things seem clearer/easier this moring.

Shiney - that is the daftest thing with the card! do you think it's an age thing

Bella - I hope JM carried on being suitably contrite.

And all those illing are waking feeling better (and that dr dishes out all the right advice & pills for wasting!)

Today due to illing nanny I'm at home with DD which is lovely but I somehow have to get work some work done while looking after her (and sort out house)....she is at the stage of running around and into everything which is not conducive to concentrating on work!! Going to try one last ditch attempt at getting her to sleep this morning as she woke at 5.45 I'm hoping she'll be a bit tireder this morning.

Is today your meet up Bitter & SAF? Enjoy!

NormaSknockers · 13/05/2010 08:52

Erm.... Cebeebies hells? Make her a den to play in?

hellsbelles · 13/05/2010 08:52

Norma - you read my mind

NormaSknockers · 13/05/2010 08:53

DIB don't be frightened, get on the scales with your eyes shut then open them really slowly, you might be suprised!

Alicetheinvisible · 13/05/2010 08:54

Good morning ladies

Fanny - thank you for mentioning that programme, will look it up on 4OD tonight.

Shiney - that really did make me giggle

Went out last night! Got a girl from our yard to babysit, she is only 16 but very sensible. Went to a friend's house for dinner because it was another friends birthday. Was really nice and we left at 10.45pm (to get home for the babysitter) We had shallot soup topped with pureed watercress (amazing!) with yummy onion topped bread, then chicken, mixed beans, carrots and potatoes, and brandy snap baskets filled with homemade ginger ice cream and mini custard and rhubarb tarts. Very yummy!

DD got put to bed at 7.30 last night, asleep by 7.40 and didn't wake up until 8am this morning! Busy day yesterday though.

Lots to do today (again) and DH, DD and i are going for an early dinner at Prezzo's this evening.

DreamsInBinary · 13/05/2010 09:00

Morning all, gorgeous day here, cold but very sunny and bright.

Alice, your meal last night sounds amazing, your friends must be excellent cooks.

DEM, I hope that you are alright my lovely and that you got some sleep

Bella, hope alls ok with you

Shiney, well done for fighting our corner, I admit I clicked on their thread by mistake looking for you lot and then saw the insults, just peed me off. Hope work is OK for you today.

Mycat, glad your first day back went well and well done on the loss.

SAF/Bitter, enjoy your meet up

Shiney - at least you cheered yourself up with your card!!! You muppet

Glad blush looks good...I hope the headmaster doesn't notice - you'll start getting inappropriate comments from him about flushed cheeks Actually thinking that way - perhaps now is the best time to ask about cutting your hours!!

Morning all

The sun is shining!

Just read back one of my posts from last night and realised it makes me seem like a massively arrogant cow

Ignore, please

Shiney, sorry but at sending yourself a card.

Looking forward to meeting up with saf later.

thanks Mitts - i wonder if shin splints is what it is, as i cant even kneel down today Treadmill is out today as well, as that is slight uphill and it hurts too much, so will take mini out for a walk in pushchair later
(and cant wait to meet you either)

shiney - at sending the card to yourself!! what are you like I hope work settles down, and you can decide on whats best for you and yours

its glorious here today as well, but house is like a tip after spending too long on essay, so i'd best get tidying

lunch - baked potato with prawns and salad, then pasta for tea (big effort now for weigh in next week)
