People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

Well done Jac - fainitng alway a good way to get people to take seriously how much pain you are in

Shiney don't worry, everyone is nervous the first day at a new job, even if it's exactly what they've always dreamed of doing. It's scary going to a new place with new people when you don't know where the loos are or where the spare pens are kept, or if you're allowed to do things without checking with someone.

Off to bed now, need to keep healthy energyness up for tomorrow.

VinegarTits · 09/11/2009 22:48

I have nothing to say about free yogurt

TrillianAstra · 09/11/2009 22:52

Where do you live? D'you think the postal strike would get half of my lot to you fast enough? Shiney told me to email in.

Alternatively: you snooze you lose.

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 09/11/2009 23:40

Evening all.

Atkins has gone horribly wrong (persuasive friend + wine + chinese takeaway) so am back confessing to The Lord.

I have spent two hours unsuccessfully looking online for a nice jewellery box, and still have wedding thank-you letters to write .

I need to get my act together. I've torn myself away from MN in order to Get Stuff Done, and used the time watching recorded episodes of America's Next Top Model. Jesus.

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 09/11/2009 23:40

AND I still have my fireworks name.

DreamsInBinary · 09/11/2009 23:43

Better

Tomorrow is another day...

bellavita · 10/11/2009 06:56

Morning

I agree with jaq shiney, are you not at least a little bit excited?

And of course, Trillian is so right about it being a little scary and not knowing where everything is. Jeez, I have been in my new job now since the 7th Sept and I still only know where the reception is and the canteen of course but that is just about it . I parked in a slightly different place in the carpark last week and thought to myself I really must go through the entrance nearest and did not have a bloody clue if I could find my way. I did, but my heart was thumping.

Vinny, did you not get your name down on the original yoghurt list then?

Ummm working....

Just eating my yogg brekki with raspberries and strawbs.

bellavita · 10/11/2009 07:57

The full amounts have now been taken out of my account, so will watch with interest as to whether I am recredited or not.

jetforkesandbonfires · 10/11/2009 08:19

shiney - its prob just last min nerves - must be a real change for you though, it will take time, and bella - hope you go exploring in your new job soon

Not sure what we are doing today - may go down for our daily walk to Tesco (sounds exciting not but minijet loves it as before we would have just got in the car. She stays in her pushchair round the shop, and gets a ride on Postman Pat for being good at the end Even if we just need some apples or something, i end up going there, which is good as it is 20 mins walk there then 20 mins walk back - so good exercise

jaquelinehydeTheBonfireToffee · 10/11/2009 08:50

I slept the whole night pain free however, I then went on to oversleep, have missed my bus to Uni so am going to be an hour late

My mobile has died so I have to take that in to O2 so they can send it away to fix it. Stupid bloody phone, I better not lose all the pictures off it, I will be seriously pissed off if I do.

Anyway, pain free happy mood, got to buy DS's Bday cake for tomorrow as well. Have a good day ladies.

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 09:00

Ah, glad that you are feeling better Jac. Hope you get your phone sorted.

Have had my email from Total, am a bit over excited about it all! Frantically thinking of recipes, but mind is blank.

Hope you all have good days

VinegarTits · 10/11/2009 09:27

All my discounts have been refunded too, spent a total of £157 and got £125 refunded, i got

pair of killer heels for me
pair of converse for the finnster (that are just soooo cute i cant wait for him to wear them)
playmobil recyle truck
playmobil sea plane
Vtech smile with thomas game

Total cost £32 wooohooo

Bella i hung back on emailing for the yoghurt because i didnt want others to miss out (like you, syc and saz) then i missed out myself as by the time i did 10 people had got there before me

But never mind, i am more than happy with my discounted items, so that makes up for lack of free yoghurt imo

Lizzylou · 10/11/2009 09:30

Oh Vinny, I feel bad now, I wish I'd emailed them to send it you instead!

Loving your bargains, most of my stuff came yesterday now have only 2 presents to get for Christmas

TrillianAstra · 10/11/2009 09:34

Morning all.

Well done on your bargains

wastingaway · 10/11/2009 10:09

Morning. I'm very pleased for you all and your yoghurt. ...

I've got a £15 off an Ocado order, and quite excited as they didn't deliver here last time I checked. Not sure what to get that I couldn't get at Morrisons etc. though.

Jet - we do that too, used to be at Aldi most days, but Morrisons is about 20 mins now we've moved, much nicer.

I need to walk the other side of town to the sorting office to pick up a package, but it looks very wet out there.

SycIsTOTALLYFatFree · 10/11/2009 10:36

Morning Laydees.

Shiney - are you starting a new job tomorrow?

What is it? Are you happy about it? Gosh, I have missed loads haven't I.

Got my yog email - delivery coming Thursday evening yay! PSML at BOF's comment about Ocado in Liverpool.

I place a bet that Sazzles will with the recipe competition. I also predict we will all have OD'd on Total by the time 11th of December comes around!

Have missed out on dodgy xmas present online scam haven't I?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 10/11/2009 10:41

Not dodgy, just a discount code that didn't have a minimum spend attached.

If the company lets you use the discount, knwoing that you have only registered that day and that you are only spending £30 with a £25 discount, then that's up to them.

bellavita · 10/11/2009 10:53

Oi you lovely lot

I have been a bad girl this morning I did have my yogga brekka but the exam invigilating finished and it coincided with the canteen opening up for staff for morning break. I had a toasted tea cake. Could have had a bacon buttie, so I suppose in a way I have sort of being good... I do however though have a banana, apple and two satsumas for this afternoon and I did have raspberries and strawbs with the yoghurt this morning.

Am glad everyone is getting their refunds >

VinegarTits · 10/11/2009 11:37

I am bored, thought i had some work coming my way but the meeting has just been cancelled

Will have to sit here and dream about smelly shatty man instead

VinegarTits · 10/11/2009 11:40

A toasted tea cake is not that naughty Bella, when i am naughty, i am really naughty, a toasted tea cake is angelic compared to my food sins

did you get your discounts?

SazZaVoom · 10/11/2009 11:43
bellavita · 10/11/2009 11:46

No the discounts have not gone back in yet, but I have used Littlewoods before with one of these offers and I think it went in the following day >

bellavita · 10/11/2009 11:46
