Welcome to the latest in our series of healthy eating threads (26 and counting)!

The emphasis is on health (which is sometimes rude when we get chatting frivolously, as is our tendency), and weight loss where desired. I obviously don't desire it enough, as I am the same weight as when I started, but some of our regulars are mere shadows of their former selves ...

Do come and sign in here if you are with us, or want to join in- all welcome.

We try a variety of approaches, and there is always a lot of support and quite a few laughs along the way. Shiney is the head honcho round these parts, and we do get to be regaled with her embarrassing stories before the rest of MN, so that's always a big draw

Join us if you will!

Too big for us here Bella, but lovely of you to offer

FlamingoCock · 27/10/2009 22:01

Hells - can't you get your DH to come home now? Do you know which pub he's at?

Sazza - good idea. She does read this thread. Not sure what you can call her though - don't want to offend her! Flamingo'sFriend would catch her eye though I reckon! If she isn't reading all this as we speak write

hellsbelles · 27/10/2009 22:01

o.k. Shiney - thanks - will suggest that.. He was suspicious (maybe unfairly) as they were two young lads standing outside the empty neighbours house looking closely at it. And they left pretty sharpish when he made it clear he had noticed them.

FlamingoCock · 27/10/2009 22:02

How much, shine?

supersal - I know! Almost worse than the fear of burglars! I hardly have to do it now at all (not sure if that is because I'm so old - might be a hormonal thing) but I always try and do it if DH is out as I would be mortified if he knew (not sure why!). The joys of being a dark haired woman!

BecauseImWorthIt · 27/10/2009 22:06

BIWI reporting in. I can vouch for the fact that I haven't been on here with any cock name, of any description. I'm a laydee, you know!

Sad about DP. I have kept very quiet on the BNP as I just didn't know what to say about it/to her. I have met her twice and she is lovely, which makes it even harder to know what to say.

I would love it, shiney, but I just don't think I can justify it now - not until we know DH's new job is going to work out

If you've still got it in three month's time, I'll have it!

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:15
hellsbelles · 27/10/2009 22:15

success - pissed dh finally picked up the phone....and will be back shortly to save the day (umm - well he'll be able to double lock which is all I really need!) He mumbled that the phone 'hadn't rung until now' - WTF??? Anyway - doesn't matter now.

And I fear you may now have me pictured as a rather plain sort...what with hairy upper lip, fat gut and olive from the buses styley! I'm honestly not that bad - I disguise these problems well - I promise!

I thought 'cock in hand' was iggi?

SazZaVoom · 27/10/2009 22:18
