For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Rhubarb, are you poring over a map?

MayorNaze · 01/07/2009 14:20

TooTicky · 01/07/2009 14:21

neither

TooTicky · 01/07/2009 14:22

Mayor, when I said not far from Bristol I meant about 20 miles or so [vague]

TooTicky · 01/07/2009 14:24

Ooh, I have just dropped a Very Large And Pointed Knife and it bounced off the bit of floor right by my toes

MayorNaze · 01/07/2009 14:24

my brain is hurting with all this thinking, the times crossword is easier...

right. i must now go and spend £50 on a petticoat. i have been putting it off but there is no alternative

Rhubarb · 01/07/2009 14:27

It's a big apple though!

TooTicky, no I'm not! I'm not that well up on the towns and villages round here still. I know Chippenham, Trowbridge, Devizes and Bradford. Dh knows them better than I do, he travels around a lot for work.

TooTicky · 01/07/2009 14:29

Ah well if you've been to Devizes, you will have passed the boot sale place

£50??!!

Right, off to start multi-stage child collection...

MayorNaze · 01/07/2009 14:32

i have been to devizes many times and am still confused...ah never mind...petticoat is for a wedding..doesn't make it any less painful though...

catch you all later

Boco · 01/07/2009 14:38

I was born in Devizes!

I just wanted to join in there with Devizes chat. I don't really have anything else to add.

Rhubarb · 01/07/2009 14:40

I was born in Oldham!

Boco · 01/07/2009 14:44

Hooray!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LittleTooT

Funny, this talk of lesbains - my ex called me yesterday to say that he has received anonymous emails (apparently they don't want to betray my trust and won't admit who they are) from 'people in the neighbourhood' warning him that I am a Lesbian. Oh, how I laughed. But, wtf?

I refused to tell him if I am or not because it's none of his farking business. And, also I'm not but it might be more interesting if I were.

Boco · 01/07/2009 14:58

How odd SB. Why would they feel the need to 'warn' him if you were? What an odd thing to email about - did they have to set up special anonymous email account just to report lesbianism?

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 01/07/2009 15:17

it did ring toot!! lol

a lesbian SB? Oh, come and live near me, I haven't quite worked my way through the locals but my morals have been questioned and allegedly females are not safe from my wicked ways.....(mwah ha haaaaaaaa)

I was born in a seriously dodgy part of coventry....

do I have to pick DC's up? I am 'a topic of conversation' and am dreadfully miserable about it........

SuperBunny · 01/07/2009 15:17

Yes! There are special email addresses just for reporting my lesbianism! How cool is that?

Either ex is being a twat and making it up or another ex is being a twat and making it up (this smacks of Indiana man - he likes to get 'revenge' on old girlfriends by spamming them or getting a new email address and pretending to be a secret admirer). Either way, it's quite amusing to me. ExH is all caught up in, "I don't care and it's none of my business and there's nothing wrong with it but I was just wondering..." and he won't let it go. Someone has far too much time on my hands.

SuperBunny · 01/07/2009 15:19

I remember you talking about your clothes sometimes slipping off your shoulder...

I was born in Hertford. They used to have a lovely regional accent but now it is much more Estuarine/ Norf Larndun
