Oh OJ, my dad did that, it was awful waiting for the next breath, this went on for a bit, but thankfully this was a more peaceful time for him, not sure if saying that helps or not, just wanted to share the peaceful bit with you.

Praying for a good many more cuddles for you both xx

Steves breathing seems more stable. slower but regular, i think he will be ok tonight.

MIL did this on and off for quite a few days. Like someone else upthread mentioned, it is horrible for you, and you don't get used to it, but it was actually a much more peaceful time for her. I'm guessing you will be up a lot tonight, but am hoping for a quiet night for your Steve.
