You have been so strong, generous(esp. with MIL) and loving over the past months. I admire all those qualities and am amazed at your ability to maintain your dignity and values dring such a shite period of your life.

I will be thinking of you today when the vampire MIL visits. How did the visit with Steve's brother go? Hope he kept it together. Steve's family could take a leaf out of your book, you know. In fact they should read the whole farking book from cover to cover and sit a bleedin' exam. How do they convince themselves they are better than you and that Steve would be better off with them? Are they all deeply delusional? That was just a little rant on your behalf.

Like many on here, I've been with someone terminally ill, and spent their last days with them. I think of you often, you're not alone. In fact, you're in the middle of a crowd, but I think you know that.
