OJ so to hear how Steve is deteriorating what can i say other than i hope he can get some peace soon too

Sorry things aren't going well. Hope you get some rest tonight. Not very ethical, but have you tried hiding his tablets in his food? I realise he's not eating much, but just a thought. Do you have sliding sheets? They're very handy for moving people up and down the bed. I hope tomorrow is better for you too.

Oh Oj - it sounds grim. My heart just goes out to you all having to deal with this.

Lapins email has cheered me up, it seems i have a shopping delivery coming on tuesday morning which includes trifles and rum
The kids are doing ok they have been really good today as we haven't been able to go out at all i think we will be staying at home tomorrow too.
we have a slide sheet but i am not strong enough to pull it, my back isn't very good at the moment and i don't want to make it any worse.
over the last few days steve has developed a shakey leg i don't know if that is down to the tumour the MS or even his meds.
i am just about to get a R&C, steve is asleep at the moment and the kids are in bed.

I have an empty house which seems very weird - DH and DS are camping in a friend's garden - 6 dads and 10 children!

got a call at 3.30 went down to Steve he seemed to be asleep but his breathing was sudden loud and had a rattle to it his left leg was shaking, his breathing has stayed much the same and I am hoping it is down to the cough he has. I sat with him for a couple ofhours and he seemed no worse. I will speak to debs the mac nurse later and see if she has any tips for steves leg as it really bothers him when he can't stop it shaking.

So sorry to say but breathing situation is the final stages.You are such a strong lady.Esp with MIL situaton.So sad if steve is agitated by his leg .I think a lot of people would have had a nervous break down by now.Putting up with your inlaws and trying to be nice to them.You will neaver have any thing to approach you self about.Yours and steves love will live through from yor children.Mil can get lost dont deserve to see her grandchildren as kids do pick up if thier mum is upset apart fromthe sadness of lossing thier dad.JUst tell her she is not welcome at your house.you never want to look at bitter twisted face again.Mil can be rude to u so you should give her a dose of her own medicine.I do know she isnt the most important thing on your mind but protect your heart from her bitterness.
