Hiya. How's Steve doing today?

it is hard to understand what he says today, he is struggling to find the words and getting cross when he can't say what he wants to say, his breathing is much heavier and you can see how much effort it is for him

OJ, I am sending you lots of love as usual. I so wish there was more I could do than just think about you and your lovely family xxx

can you just stay near him for a while and cuddle up?

oj how is his vision?

Can you make up a board with words on it for him to point at, would he like that or would that make him more annoyed?

You could have key phrases like 'Yes' 'no' 'trifle' 'yes darling you may kill my mother by any means you see fit'

First chance I have had to come on here and wanted to check in how you were doing.

OJ, you need to do what you feel is best for you regarding the witch your MIL but you know we will all support you, whatever it is. Could you tell Steve when the next visit is my her and ask him if he wants her to come?

Steve really hasn't had a good day he has been very aggitated lots of swearing and shouting he has refused to take his meds and got very nasty about it.
i hate to see him like this i wished he could at least find some peace. he has had one trifle today and a few drinks but that is all.
we have struggled to move him today we need a hoist now but will have to wait til monday to order one. i so hope tomorrow is better for him.

Pardon the ignorance, but is there anyway he could take the meds by injection or would that be even worse ?

He can have a driver fitted but i suspect he would pull it out.

OJ sounds grim for you, and Steve too.

he is incontinent now and pull his pads out all the time which leads to lots of bed changes thank goodness the weather is good

This is so hard to read, so it must be orders of magnitude harder to live.

OJ, I hope Steve is more settled tonight. You must be absolutely shattered. I hope you are able to get the hoist sorted on Monday. How wonderful that Steve is still thinking of you & wanted to get you some flowers. I know he is very proud of you as his wife and the love of his life. This is such an incredibly painful time for you both. You know where I am hun. Please call anytime. xxx
