I'm so fed up of my health I am never ever going a week without being sick. I have nerve damage in my back from a nephrostomy.
I am now unable to breathe properly disorientated and slept since 11am I don't know where to post
I phoned 111 and no doc available I can't get to hospital and they have sent an ambulance I am so fed up and scared. I think I have an infection but I am so confused

Ok handhold here. Are you waiting near the front door so you can let the ambulance people in?

Whinesalot · 16/11/2017 17:21

Holding hands. At least you are on the way to getting better now. There will be people looking after you.

Ijustlovefood · 16/11/2017 17:22

Battleax · 16/11/2017 17:23

Infections can be very disorienting like that. They'll have you sorted out in no time Flowers

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 17:23

I'm upstairs I am so exhausted I'll have to go down to let them in I am in bits.
Thank you for the support I am ashamed they are sending an ambulance I am crying my eyes out

You did the right thing. Don't be ashamed, they are coming to help you, not judge.

JontyDoggle37 · 16/11/2017 17:26

No need to be ashamed. Think about how to get downstairs safely and start soon so you can do it without rushing. I’d go down on my bottom if I were you, one step at a time, to reduce the risk of a fall. Do you have any medication you need to take with you, and can you gather your house keys and your purse too, so you’ve got means to get home and get in when you’re ok again?

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 17:28

All those people who neee them more then me. That why I phone 111 this is deadful
I have been waiting hours in an emergency and hate time wasters now I feel like one. My lips are grey maybe flu. I've been waiting an hour but not surprised I said please don't send one for me they said they had to but not an emergency onde I don't know the differenfence
I'm alone at hom my husband is working my son with my MIL what a terrible day
Last time I was in hospital they had to put a canula in my foot I had no veins left from my previous health problems

They know how to allocate ambulances.

Stop worrying about that side of things.

Have you phoned your DH?

JontyDoggle37 · 16/11/2017 17:30

If your lips are grey suggest you Phone 999 and update them, that’s serious, they might be able to speed up the ambulance. Can your husband come home from work to be with you as it’s so bad?

ShakeTheDisease · 16/11/2017 17:32

You're not a time waster. The paramedics know what they're doing and will help you. Can you put a few things in a bag? Phone charger and phone most importantly.

Whinesalot · 16/11/2017 17:32

You are not time wasting. They wouldn't send one if they thought you didn't need it.
Do as Jonty says and get down the stairs now on your bottom, unlock the door then crash on the sofa. Think of all the things you need to take with you and where to direct the ambulance people to get them, if you can't get them yourself - especially medication.

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 17:49

Stlll not here
My husband can't come any quicker my neighbour said she can come right away I said when ambulance here
I told them my lips were grey on the phone
I am so upset
It is embarrassing it is probably a flu
Because I never get a temperature despite being soaking wet I always get over looked for an infection. I almost died from pseudomonas last year as nobody bought I was so sick since no temperature
It's easy to miss a kidney infection as I have pain directly over kidney area I will go down stairs
I'm just so tired

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 17:54

My husband came home to give me pain killers he is arind the corner working he is tiling and can't leave the tile but will come right away if an emergency ambulance not here yet

Munchyseeds · 16/11/2017 19:01

Poor you...hope you feel better soonFlowers
When you are recovered why not think about fitting a key safe? That way the ambulance service can get to you if ever you are not able to let them in

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 20:03

They haven't come yet I am devastated.
My husband is home and my son is home and my FIL is here.
I hope they can treat me at home. I think I've got a kidney infection actually

OP posts:
donajimena · 16/11/2017 20:05

I don't want to alarm you but are you aware of sepsis symptoms? If you have any of those please 999

Changerofname987654321 · 16/11/2017 20:06

Can your husband or FIL take you to hospital?

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 20:10

I'm super stressed about sepsis but I am walking around.
The reason sepsis freaks me out is because I am known to brew monster infections but never ever ever have a temperature.
My kidneys hurt on both sides. I have dipsticks but they are stale so a bit discoloured. I'll go and check them now.
I can't wait in a&e I am hysterical about hospital and utterly hate it.
I was hoping to be reassured by a paramedic but it hasn't arrived yet. There must be more poorly people then me.
I've taken codeine and paracetamol. I am so tired. That was what initially concerned me but I am now less confused

ItsAHardKn0ckLife1 · 16/11/2017 20:13

Whinesalot · 16/11/2017 20:13

dissapointedafternoon · 16/11/2017 20:14

I've only got proteine in urine
