I am an armchair alternative health user so in no way qualified but I have read and tried out a lot. Your headaches and face pain sound awful.
So, what would I do (apart from the osteopath and the relaxation)...
Keep hydrated. Camomile tea, chicken broth, avoid tannin, coffee, peppermint, fennel. I would also avoid sugar, citrus fruits, and eat anti inflammatory foods like garlic, fresh turmeric, coconut oil (added Ed to cooked rice) lots of raw vegetables, clean no additive foods like rice, chicken, fish.
Massage your hands and feet, if you find a painful place, massage gently in a circular motion. Have an Epsom salts bath.
Use essential oils in the bath, for massaging your hands and feet and on your temples, a few drops on your pillow and in a bowl of water in the room you are in: 5 drops of Camomile, 7 drops of Lavender, 5 drops of Niaoli in 30ml of carrier oil. Inhaling the oil should help to clear your sinuses. Avoid using more stimulating oils like eucalyptus, pine, basil, Rosemary etc.
