Zombie needs her limbs holding

With Zombie's permission, I'm starting this thread

As many of you know she has had a hideous time through her treatment for cancer.

At the point where she was maybe out of the woods she has been asked to see her surgeon on Friday. Unexpectedly

Can we all squeeze her together so her limbs don't go flailing
and do what we vipers do best?

I cannot bear the thought of her going through all the treatment s again after coming out of it before

Prayers, fingers crossing or whatever welcome right now

Less than thirteen hours to wait now.

So, the plan is a relatively early night tonight. I'll probably take a couple of sleepy pills to help relax.

Up at 06.30am. Downstairs for coffee by 06.45am. (Must hit the snooze button once and only once.) Back upstairs by 07.15am - shower, wash and dry hair, get dressed. Back downstairs by 08.00am, feed the cats while the kettle boils for coffee number 2. Out the door at 08.30. Arrive MaccyD by 09.10am. Run over to Sainsburys and buy the papers. Back to MaccyD for Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin meal. Get to hospital by 09.50am. Search and search some more for a parking space. Present self at the Breast Clinic by 10.05am.

Try to work out what the result is going to be by observing facial expressions and eye contact (or lack thereof) as nurses that know me come and go while I'm waiting to be called in.

If the biopsy is clear I should be out and on my way 10 minutes after being called in. If it isn't there will be treatment options to discuss, possibly consent forms to be signed and I will eventually leave with a stack of information leaflets.

In either event, I have a few errands to run and the weekend food shop to do before coming home. I won't be able to report until mid-afternoon at the earliest so please don't worry if you don't hear anything straight away.

Slow deep breath. And repeat.
