Bought this as not prepared to fork out for a gym membership as I know I'll never go.
Did it today, thought the pump bit of it was not too bad... 30 minutes, light sweat little bit puffed, so sat down and had a flick through the dvd extras
Then once cooled down jumped up to make some lunch
And my legs collapsed, like jelly... even now they feel... unreliable like after 14 double vodkas type of thing

Oh, I just bought this dvd too. I'll have to try it out now as a great low fat way to be legless...

bubblerock · 16/01/2006 14:11

lol - your body is in shock Mine's the same after any exercise!

bran · 16/01/2006 14:12

Does she have a stretching bit at the end? If you skipped that bit try doing it now, it might help.

Piffle · 16/01/2006 14:18

nope I did the fulll warm up and down
I have to face facts that I am chronically unfit...

aha, yes, it's hard that's why. I have both her dvds and the first time I did them I coudn't walk for 3 days afterwards (and I did the stretching before and after). I was pleased, I tend to believe it means it's working! It's those squats that are the killer.

Piffle · 16/01/2006 17:25

ballet squats huh
no wonder ballet dancers walk bow legged then...
ha ha

I felt like this after doing the "pump it up"exercise dvd by ministry of sound.

You know the one that is the viseo for eric pryde's call on me

needless to say it really needs to come back out, it has been in the cupboard for 6 months now

katierocket , are you still doing her first one? If so which one do you prefer and have you seen a difference?

Skribble · 16/01/2006 22:29

Piffle me thinks you have over stretched your hamstrings, take it easy on your legs next time.

katierocket · 17/01/2006 09:35

Tasa - I like them both. I got the new Davina one just for a change but I'm actually going to do the first one tonight. I like the fact that on the 2nd CD the workouts are only 30 mins. Has anyone tried the 'core stability' one? I've not tried that yet, it looks a tad tricky.

how are the legs piffle?

jstbcs · 17/01/2006 09:47

how long are the work outs on the first one?

katierocket · 17/01/2006 09:52

there are three separate workouts (legs & bums, arms, and abs) plus a warm up and cool down. You can do them all together or just choose one of them (together with warm up and acool down).

I love davina

jstbcs · 17/01/2006 09:53

how long is the dvd/each work out? on 1st dvd
