I actually cried when I opened the box. I feel such a twat. This is NEMO, my Nemo. I don't ask for much but maybe I shouldn't expect people to have the same standards I do. I gave away on Freecycle, lots of the toys he no longer uses, I washed them, or cleaned them, tightened screws, replaced batteries etc.... all for free because it's important to me.

I could fucking scream about this though. Why has it rattled me so much?

SAF - yes, your taste buds are starting to wake up. I loved it when mine did. I didn't realise just how much salt I put on my food or how much sweeter things tasted, my sense of smell came back too. I could smell things I'd forgotten about.

It was amazing.

Been to playgroup this morning, hydro next which I really need this week as I'm in agony, and then off out to the castle ths afternoon for a milkshake and some chat with the girls. Taking the DCs too.

The bastard who mis-sold me the train set has agreed to a full refund. As soon as I get the money, I'll post it all back so that's made me feel so much better.

My sense of smell has never fully recovered from pregnancy, most of the time I suspect this is a benefit, apart for having to get people to sniff milk bottles... Maybe that's why I scarf down coffee by the vat

Glad to hear the ebayer creep is refunding you. My standards aren't as high as yours mouse but even if giving stuff away I would also make sure it was clean.
