Fuck SAF - it will be hell. Sorry, no point in lying to you. It's going to be worse than you think.

I spent 4 hours cleaning up after them yesterday, there was black fine dust everywhere. I mean everywhere, rubble, plaster, tiny bits of copper wire, dirty hand prints, lights put back on the wrong way.......

Get the vodka stocked up and maybe some meds. You are always welcome to de-camp here should you need to. Smile

No idea re tooth, they said asap and put me to the top of the list.

Ha ha Bitter Grin

hello ladies. welcome back Bitter, sorry your DD was unwell.

glad you sound better too saf. yes, the works sound quite erm demanding.

Bitter - may be worth checking out CEX as to what price they offer cash on the games/DVDS (games especially). Ime CEX prices are better than the game shops.

Mousey- lets hope you get extracted in next week or two then!

SAF - trust me, they aren't careful either. Dirty hand and footprints everwhere. Fags ends, dirty cups, empty drink cans......

Pack things up, glass things or anything you'd like to keep clean. Seal the doors of any rooms that they won't be in that day or at all.

Get some duct tape and plastic sheeting. Oh, and be prepared to get a cough with all the dust.

Run your freezer and fridge down so that when the power is off, nothing spoils.

Drink plenty of vodka. Neat. Grin

And remember that we're all at the end of the phone. xx

I want a new bathroom and kitchen

Saf, my child free time doesn't exist, so I do understand.

Friend has been and gone, cheese on toast has been eaten. Off to finish the laundry.

My down fall is a nice glass of wine in the evenings to relax when the kids are in bed but sometime I get so relaxed I can polish off the bottle problem where im going wrong with the weight thing as I dont eat junk just drink it!!!!!!!!! :)

Mouseface · 15/03/2011 15:03

SAF - the whole of upstairs is now trassed, totally. Floors are ruined, walls are full of holes/tracks and are falling apart.

Lights (spots in the ceiling) are bust, there are holes in every ceiling where they've moved the light fittings.

Hello theguiltyone, are you joining us? Smile

Well, looks like I've scared another poster off Grin

Fat fat fat Mouse. I need to kick my own asre into gear and shift this bloody jelly belly. 50 sit-ups and 20 bridges today, with bottom clenching so that counts for something given I couldn't walk until Sunday thanks to the new hydro guy.

So, if I keep trying, I'll get stronger and fitter, right? Squats tomorrow.

Lasagne from scratch (no jars) for dinner, wolf is having a bath tomorrow, he is v wiffy.

Nemo is loving his first pair of shoes, keeps bringing them to be put on Grin

And he's chattering away, no words, just jibbering. Bit like me after a skinful.

Fups - is Mole totally recovered now? And how are you?

SAF - did DS get anything from Sea Life with his birthday money? Did you tell me and I've forgotten?

Bitter - how's DD now?

Dubs - If you are lurking, Mwah xx

I have new walking shoes that were a bargin (HERE) for walking the wolf. I live in the counrty and I'm surrounded by fields, farms and mountains.

Roll on Summer Grin

X posted - if they cause significant damage, they have to repair or replace.

Well, they did in my old house. Just make them take their boots off! Grin

Yep. I got an allowance when I got my house. Think it was about £300. We had nothing at all so managed to get a mattress and some bedding, a portable tv and a mircowave.

I had to carpet the place, have all the doors replaced, windows glazed, water and power checked, the previous dwellers had 'wired the lecky' so the meter gave it them for free.

The chap said that if DD or me had touched it, we'd be dead.

No heating, no lights, and the HA said it was fit to move into. Hmm

Night gorgeous, sleep well. Hopefully you'll feel better still tomorrow. xxx

I bet you're not fat, I bet you're just retaining water or big boned? Wink

Off to bath Nemo and then to watch a bit of CSI and bed.

Night all xx
