I walked and bumped into a friend and we nattered for ages. She missed her trainBlush

She put me on to this and I hope to go to as much as possible Smile

I am oddly warm but have clever layers on (primark long sleeve T's Smile)

Lol at putting Mouse on 'snooze' Smile

I have a completely mad alarm on my phone at the moment.

I am having my last lazy holiday day and will be 'doing' stuff for last few days Smile

Hello

Have Banked check, done vouchers, bought bread and milk, filled the car with petrol and sorted what we are having for dinner. (Roast Gammon and cauli cheese, if anyone is interested.) Purchased toys for xmas and done one load of washing.

Need to do school run then will stop for a cup of tea and an MN break.

Back from the school run. A Rottie went for DS, got hold of his arm.

Yeah, he was wearing a padded coat, there's not a mark on him. Just scared the life out of him.

Only a young dog, the woman with him said 'he's not a vicious dog' and legged it. Fucker. Angry

bloody hell! if it was her kid's arm she might not be so quick to say it's not a vicious dog...

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 10/11/2010 15:55

You know I am not one of the anti dog brigade but this dog was not muzzled and standing on a narrow pavement that's fenced both sides while 20 or 30 primary school kids teemed past. What an idiot owner.

I noticed its hackles up, turned around to pick up DD and then saw it just lunge for DS.

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 10/11/2010 16:00

Shock Bitter, poor DS and you. I have little respect for owners of such dogs that don't muzzle them. It's not fair on people or the dogs.
I bet she legged it. [frown]

Not cold much here. Jacket potatoes in, which helps, but I am having Salmon Pasta Smile
I really really heart Salmon.

No, not a parent. I have no idea who she is.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 10/11/2010 16:13

I have nothing against Rotties, they can be lovely family dogs but they do need a firm hand and proper training. A lot like Weis, I guess.

Mouseface · 10/11/2010 16:35

Firstly - WTF!!! Shock Bitter, poor DS for having that happen to him. I hope he's ok and only shaken short term. xx

And secondly - I'm back, you can all stop missing me now. Grin

Doc said I'm definately as mad as a bastard and should start acting as such, instead of swaning around and pretending to be normal. Wink

Well, something like that. He has put me on more new meds... will go look up what they are as they need to be ordered in.... and will increase my current one to the highest dose in two weeks.

Mittz - those events look great. My kind of things to do! They soothe your soul.

Gah, hate being at uni, can't keep up with these threads!

Sorry for absence. I'm going to the gym tomorrow after lectures for the first time since summer in a long while.

I'm going to die, aren't I?

Plus points, my jeans indicate I might have lost some more weight, and also, spent all day filming out in the fresh air, so was a good day all in all :)
