Hey Smile

Yes i know i am rubbish Blush but do like to pop by to say hello to you all.

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 09/11/2010 09:13

Oh Alice sweetie, you are SO not rubbish xx How are you? We miss you but truly understand why you have other things as priority at the moment (( ))

I don't cook for people at this house. The kitchen is painfully small and I just get stressed. I used to happily but It only comfortably has one person in it Hmm.

Oiling your ears SaF? I haven't tried that..

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 09/11/2010 09:25

We are all fine thanks Mittz, DD and i have a grotty cold, but just using that as a useful excuse to have a quiet week Grin F is doing very well, sticking to the 75th centile and sleeping well. And......we are going on holiday on monday!!

I really do need to start on some kind of healthy eating/diet soon though. I am eating way too much atm just for the hell of it you know? Spent £44 on a swimsuit because i needed boob support and tummy control, should have got a wesuit really Grin I am 11st on the dot now, and have a 33inch waist so need to lose 3inches off my waist and a stone to start with.

How are your family?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 09/11/2010 09:36

Hey Alice Smile

DD is nearly two now and I am still a couple of pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight, don't be too hard on yourself. Grin

Saf, two choices sounds good, don't stress about feeding people, they will be there to see you and DS.

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 09/11/2010 09:52

Hey Bitter Smile i have kicked into action by swimsuit shopping Confused i am a weeble.

SAF - i love going over to people's houses where there is some proper food (like bolognese/shepherds pie) a warm welcome and some nibbles and alcohol. Can't stand going somewhere where there are no nibbles (or if they are very posh ones) crisps in a bowl, you can't go wrong Grin and the food is complicated or poncey - no need! Hope you are well Smile

Mouseface · 09/11/2010 09:58

Dentist is calling me back to say when to go.

Hugs to any poorly peeps. I see the norty DP blower has gone to school. Grin

Nemo has dropped to under the 9th centile where he started and is now barely following the 2nd.

SAF - I can't stand fish pie. I wish I did because it always looks so comforting and yum!

Dentist has called back, 12pm appt.

BrianAndHisBalls · 09/11/2010 10:39

mouse - can molly and her 99.6th and 2 squares above centile send some over for him? we can't get her bloody clothes to fit!

good luck at dentist.

just had 6 vials taken at drs, results will be back today Shock

anyway i've sent some of you langers a fb message just about the cat. no hurry to respond, am going outside.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 09/11/2010 10:43

Good luck at the dentists Mouse.

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 09/11/2010 10:46

To be fair, he started off on the 80th, dropped to 75th, then back up to 81st and now following along the 75th. I have a ridiculous amount of milk too, managed to get a bag full of frozen milk up to addenbrooks at the weekend. Not expressing for the hospital this week due to cold medication though.

DD is a grump, got to see whats the matter with her...

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 09/11/2010 10:50

Oh fab Mouse.. hope it is the beginning of the end of tooth grief.. Smile

I never followed the centile thing. I was a hopeless mum.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 09/11/2010 10:53

Both off mine were off the chart height wise and well under weight wise. Come to think of it, they still are tall and skinny.

I know they eat well, that's all that concerns me. Smile

Mouseface · 09/11/2010 10:54

i know saf its really funny, you tell drs she's got reflux and they look at her like Shock and Hmm, wonder what she'd be like if she didn't have reflux!! Grin

hi alice - glad you're doing well. its a bloody nightmare with 2 of the buggers isn't it?! But yay to holiday monday Smile

miitz - im sure thats not true lovely.

mouse - dp is upset he didn't get his bj.

saf - you are vaire brave cooking for 5.5. When I have to cook for more than 3 I do a massive cottage pie with lots of worcestershire sauce and sometimes those curried beans in it.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 09/11/2010 11:07

Yes to sliced potatoes, but slice them very thinly.

If you want to use cream, mix a table spoon of flour and the same of butter to a paste in a pan over a low heat, then add the cream slowly until you have a nice sauce.

I don't put fish stock in my fish pie.
