Classic JK today - they were as bad as each other.

I have eaten a bagel with grilled bacon. Have an innocent veg pot for dinner. I've lost the few pounds I put on by not eating last week. Hmm

Back to 9 stone on the nose.

JK!!!!!! OMG!!!! This next guy is a prick, just seen the trailer.

Hello lovelies.

I'm back from hospital with Nemo. They have put him on meds and said that he has severe GORD, Sensory Feeding Disorder and WILL have to have a gastroscopy/gastronomy? (SP?) in six months if he doesn't start to eat within that time.

The Consultant Gastro chap was so nice and he really understaood just how hard it is to have a child that vomits the whole time. I heart him.

He put us at ease. Said to call him anytime we need him.

And I'm back under my old physio as well as my new one. My hips/pelvis are fucked. They have got worse due to lack of rest.

Anyway, so I've not caught up but I will. Just wanted to say hello and that I'm JKing!!

Smile xxx

Sounds positive fot Nemo Mouse. I need to sort the house. There are flies everywhere. Yuck!

BrianAndHisBalls · 07/10/2010 14:44

good news mouse Smile

i always said double was off with the fairies Grin

theory #87 - its yoghurt. Nearly cancelled yesterday's paed appt because Molly had only been sick once since Monday but thought no, if I do that she'll start puking again. So today, she pucks again Grin

I think it may be yoghurt? What do you think? I can link at least 4 occasions now to yoghurt eating before.

The paed said she might be allergic but the original dr said she wasn't Confused If she's allergic to yoghurt wouldnt she be allegic to the sma or is that different stuff? She eats cheese fine....

At least I caught most of the sick in a towel.

Just put photo on fb, of mole not sick. Shes only still alive because shes cute Grin

Mouseface · 07/10/2010 14:50

Brian - I really doubt it is only one food. But, to prove the doc wrong, stop giving her yoghurt for a week or two.

And yes, normally, if it is the lactose or the cow's milk protein it would be EVERYTHING with 'milk' in that makes her puke.

Is she still on her meds? Have they discussed any others that you can introduce?

And Nemo will have a Gastrostomy. And is back to full on puking. Sad

Remeber the false sense of security I told you about Brian???

remember even.....

OP posts:

milk and yoghurt used to give DS the runs, so I cut back on them when toilet training him. and now he is constipated, oh tne bitter irony! i vaguely remember someone saying on here that the dairy stuff in cheese is easier tolerate than in milk or yoghurt. unfortunately I have no more scientically specific idea to contribute. might be worth looking up casein sensitivity Brian? and no harm in seeing if being yog free helps.

BrianAndHisBalls · 07/10/2010 16:27

let me google gatronomy two tics x

BrianAndHisBalls · 07/10/2010 16:33

just looked it up, hopefully they'll give him a mild sedative? poor little thing Sad

The other thing it could be is that the paed said to give her half her lano whatever this morning and half tonight rather than all in morning. She has been terrible all afternoon, screaming in pain Sad so have just given her a full tablet now will have to wait and see.

Shat myself though as sge started 'foaming' at the mouth, theres me running to the kitchen to see if id actually given her the wrong tablet!!

Jesus mouse - all this is a right pain in the arse, can't imagine how you cope, i really can't/. I suppose none of us have any choice Sad

Wtf will happen when I go back to work god knows.

Total - dd1 'withholds' so has had to have movicol for a while. Honestly they never tell you all these bits Grin

Mouseface · 07/10/2010 16:50

Brian - I got it wrong - gastrostomy. A tube inserted into his tummy to feed him with instead of the one he has now up his nose.

You may find that a dose in the morning and a dose in the evening will help her more.

Poor Mole. xx

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 07/10/2010 17:33

oh sorry mouse, i thought it was a test with a tube Sad x

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/10/2010 17:53

Afternoon. Fish pie is in, downstairs is tidy. Do I get a sticker?

Poor Mole and Nemo, it must be so tough.

Mouseface · 07/10/2010 18:01

Bitter - how is DS today? Sending him hugs.

DD update - the 'friends' sister went up and said in front of all the other yr 11s this morning, 'go and apologise to my sister now'

DD said that she had already said sorry and sister said, 'no, go and do it now so I can see'

She wasn't even on the bus when it happened!

FFS. She better not cross my path anytime soon.

Grrr.

TotalChaos · 07/10/2010 18:04

I assume it was "just", well not "just" really the camera up the arse test, not an actually erm feeding thingyummy.

mousey - if you go onto SN board, there are ladies there whose kids have pegs/tubes etc.

brian - sometimes parenting is shit. literally Grin

Mouseface · 07/10/2010 18:11

TC ? Confused

I'd posted not so long ago in SN about NG feeding tubes and had a chat with a few ladies re the Mi-key button and gastrostomys.

It was inevitable really. Just don't want him to be at risk but needs must. Smile

OP posts:
TotalChaos · 07/10/2010 18:15

sorry mouse, I put that badly - I just meant that I was under the same misapprehension as brian - that he was to have a gastroscopy (i.e. a briefish procedure) rather than a procedure - which is more of a long-term thing.

Mouseface · 07/10/2010 18:25

That's my failt for getting the name muddled! Not yours and Brian's xx
