Where is Brian??

Would it be really bad to give the DC HotDogs for dinner? They are DS's fave and I think he needs extra TLC right now.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/10/2010 14:07

You will have to let me know if he is Saf, DD has demanded to watch 'beebies' so mI have been booted off the TV.

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 14:15

Hotdogs once in a while are ok Smile especially as he needs some TLC.

He wasn't the dad Bitter. Thank fuck.

The next pair are lovely Hmm

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/10/2010 14:17

Yeah, I bought Nanny Mcphee the other day (£3- Bargain!) so I think I will put DD to bed early and snuggle up with him to watch that, as DH is on lates today and tomorrow.

HotDogs it is. Might get DD a cottage pie or something out of the freezer.

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 14:26

I love Nanny McPhee. I am a softy. Can I come snuggle with you all too? I'll bring cheese for us and nice treats for the DC?

I'm feeling very protective over your DS Bitter. Maybe the 'once was a bullied child' coming out in me.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/10/2010 14:29

I've not seen it mouse, any good?

I am feeling particularly 'Momma Bear'over this as well. You are more than welcome to come and snuggle, I'll put the kettle on. Smile

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 14:33

Super, be there in a mo. Smile

It's a great film. I cried but it is a fab story. I've seen it 7 times Blush.

I think SAF said she had the second one..... not seen that yet.

yo. cant remember what happened on jk this am, my brain has gone Confused

Mole had her appt, they think its reflux with possibility of that narrowing tube from stomach think or he thought more likely a twist in the tube? Anyway, got to have a barium in next few weeks. She's in 99th% percentile for weight and height, she weighs 12.53 kg Shock

Talked to him a bit about the fact that she doesn't crawl and he said well does she clap? err no. Does she wave? err no. Does she bottom shuffle? err no.

He says she's at the lower end of gross motor skills but not to worry as its not linked to mental development Confused

Got hv to check development on 11th and fanconi's appt same day.

More amusingly DP and I had a stand up row in the town centre car park with some bloke and his wife....

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 15:05

Brian - Nemo had a barium swallow. It won't prove/show reflux unless she is sick when they do it. Sorry, I forgot it was today. xx

Tell all about this row!!!

SAF - it's on fb but no worries if it's not as good. Smile

some bloke was indicating for a car parking space and was just sat there. Fair enough. Drove past him and went into next available space, about 3 spaces further along. As we turn left into it this car slams his foot on accelerator leans on horn and tries to beat dp into the space Confused

DP went mental as apparently the guy nearly hit our car. DP pulls forward into the space in front and this guy follows us into the space behind. He gets out and is shouting 'you stole my space!' 'You could see we were waiting for that space!'

DP just lost it, starts shouting at this man that he thought he was waiting for the other space (the one he was sat next to not one 3 spaces away) and that the guy had nearly hit our car.

All got a bit heated so I got out the car Hmm and just to calm things down Hmm said 'we've got a baby in the car' like that should make a difference Grin.

So the woman opens her car door and starts shouting at DP, he shouts 'and you can shut up too' at her Blush and there's me saying 'but we thought you were waiting for the other space, you didn't have to try to drive into our car' while saying 'leave it, leave it' to dp a la some liverpudlian Grin

Anyway the guy shouts 'you know I'm in the wrong!' (think he got mixed up there with what he wanted to say!) and I dragged DP off.

That was the most excitement I've had in over a year Blush

BrianAndHisBalls · 06/10/2010 15:09

mouse - thats what the dr said too, i thought eh? he said they give them the barium to check for twisty bowel/thin tube but that then they try to provoke reflux my holding the baby upside down etc Hmm to see what happens!! I thought, errr ok.

Yeah, the lay Nemo down to try and provoke pukesville. Didn't happen though so they could not confirm reflux.

We are at the new Gastro Cons tomorrow so will keep you posted. With a bit of luck we can share our experiences of different departments so we can give each other a heads up!!!

Great row Brians DP!! Grin What is it about parking that really winds folk up? I've been the same in the past.

Especially with disabled spots. GGGGggrrrr!!

Brian - when are Moles next tests?

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 15:25

9 months mouse.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 06/10/2010 15:35

I still haven't done a dot com shop. I need to go to Tesco again to feed the DC.

Back later.

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 15:48

Brian - Nemo took ages to do the basic for lots of reasons and still doesn't do more than clap (this week) and crawl (last 3 months).

If Mole is being sick all the time, the last thing she'll do is develop her motor skills.

Nemo's CCN and Cons Paed said as much. He is/was busy spending his day puking so most likely doesn't feel like playing, walking, etc.

Children with 'complications' whatever size they are often take longer to hit the 'milestones'.

BUT, much more importantly, she is coming up to 1 so they are looking more closely at her. And let's not forget that every child develops at their own rate!!!

Whose slap? Mine?

I missed your slap post.

I shouldn't really slap on here. i once got told off by FA for slapping someone, think it was BOF!! Blush

DD has come home in floods of tears due to being slapped in the face on the bus by her so called mate.

Sad

hello. hope your DD is OKish Mousey, god I would not want to do school days again.

Brian - think all that stuff is what you would expect by 12 months, so plenty of time for mole yet.

Mouseface · 06/10/2010 16:44

Excatly TC re the Mole comment. They are just asking because that is what they will be looking out for in the next few months. Smile

Double - not really. It started out as harmless fun and then her 'friend' slapped her in the face, she's got a mark on her eye. DD hit her back Blush on her back as she'd turned to walk away, so her 'friend' punched her in the arm. Nice.

She has since tried to apologise but DD is having none of it.

Fucking school days are shit aren't they?

Lots of TLC and I'm sure she'll be ok......Hmm

She said she's not going to school tomorrow.

And I forgot to say that I didn't condone her hitting the girl back.

knocking her to thefloor however is different
