No, if you are slow cooking it will be fine. If I do a casserole in the slow cooker I don't even brown the meat, I chuck it all in frozen. As long as it is served piping hot you will be fine.

thank fuck for that bitter, its got 3 x 500g mince 3 x dolmio and about 3100 worth of onions etc in it so didnt want to have to chuck it out

Mince will definitely be fine to eat- last time I tried mince on the slow cooker the texture was all spooky though. Worth trying again?

yeah i think so, i find you have to almost chop it lots with a wooden spoon and obviously leave on all day else the texture can be a bit weird.
