is it wrong to wish for death so early in the day? its 8.51 and im praying im struck down my a plague of locusts or something. hopefully they'll eat my ears so i don't have to listen to the crying anymore!

shes at the 'roll over, cant roll back' - cry, 'drop toy' - cry, 'cant reach toy' - cry, 'i walk out room' - cry, 'vacuum cleaner' - cry arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/09/2010 09:22

Put her in her cot and have a cup of tea in the garden. Saved my sanity on more than one occasion.

BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 09:36

shes just gone to sleep bitter. but i think next time i will :)

sorry im so miserable at the moment, is week before period and i always get all hormonal, plus the noise she makes just feels like a cheese grater on my nerves :(

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/09/2010 09:49

Don't apologise, I totally hear you. It's difficult when you can't find the 'mute' button. Smile

BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 09:58

its so frustrating when i try everything but nothing seems to work, im not great with 6m+ babies, am better when they cuddle, sleep and eat all the time, or when they get to the wanting you to read to them stage... ah well x

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/09/2010 10:06

See I'm good with them at that stage, but not so good with a million questions a minute 5 year olds. Horses for courses.

Mouseface · 23/09/2010 10:12

Morning.

2-7ish last night. What I am doing wrong? Why won't he sleep?

Brian - so sorry you are having a hard time with Mole. xx

Hey Bitter, SAF, TC, Double et al.

Both Nemo and I have woken - ha - with a cold.

Physio and hydro today and all I want to do is sleep.

Are we all ok apart from SAF and adventure cat wanting to play at 5am!!

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 10:28

jesus mouse, what has the nurse suggested might be keeping him from sleep? naps in the day too long? too short? noises waking him?

you both must be shattered xx

Mouseface · 23/09/2010 10:31

He has an hour in the day.

He goes to bed at 8.30ish but was awake til 10 last night and pulled his tube out so that didn't help.

I am going to give him a feed when he is asleep tonight.

Just to rule out hunger. I have got to do something.

I'm not safe to drive on this little sleep.

Bugger! Just wrote out my post the leant of something and lost everything

Short version is:

Internet broke here yesterday, came back on this morning.
F has caught my cold and is suffering Sad
Potty training is soul destroying and the hardest part of parenting for me so far.
Had to have words with DH last night.

So haven't caught up i'm afraid so hope all ok.

F just waking up, back later Smile

Mouseface · 23/09/2010 10:57

(((((((x))))))) here Alice. Sorry you are having an awful time.

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 11:14

you're toilet training F? God, he's advanced Grin

Mouseface · 23/09/2010 11:21

Brian, you knob. Are you covering for the Oirish bird whilst she's not here? Grin

OP posts:
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/09/2010 11:27

Hello Alice. Smile

If you are finding Potty training stressful, then stop. I did this with DS, waited a couple of months then tried again. He went straight to using the toilet, no accidents.

Mouse when is MrM giving you a night off?

I have ordered a weekly shop. I've only had one in the last 6 weeks. Blush

Tomorrow I will have food in the house!

BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 11:36

bitter - totally agree, it was something like start at 2 they'll be trained by 3, start at 3 they'll be trained at 3. They just click one day but if its not happening just have a break for a couple of weeks.

mouse - yes i am, im being the 'slightly insane and a bit kooky' one while double is mia. Grin

BrianAndHisBalls · 23/09/2010 11:38

come and admire my latest creation, what do you think? beads round the edge too much? i must admit i love this one

Mouseface · 23/09/2010 11:39

Tomorrow night Bitter Smile

And then we will see how we get on in the week, see if this feeding him extra helps.

Then next weekend, he is cooking me a slap up dinner, nice bottle of something to have a glass of and then another two nights off.

We are going to split the week up around his work schedule.

He got up again last night to soothe Nemo. And gave up at 6.30 so put him in bed with me, he didn't settle so I stuck him back in his cot just before 7am and he went flat out straight away!! Confused

God only knows what's going on with him.

Online shop here today, another 2 hours of my life I'll never get back thanks to the shite website!!

Hydro now. Back later xx
