Mouse, you need a break. Hell, I need a break and DD doesn't have the health complications that Nemo does.

Sending you hugs and alcohol free vodka (That would be water then)

Vinny, I hope I haven't put my foot in it. I heard your Nan was ill but didn't realise it was serious. Apologies if I have offended.

mittz · 17/09/2010 19:31

Thanks you guys, you are all so bloody lovely. I'm really grateful for your support.

Words will be had, in a nice way, if I can get him alone. I'll tell him I need him and need a break. I need to go into town tomorrow to get my new posh glasses and hand my wedding/engagement rings to the jewellers for re plating. No rings for 4 weeks!!!

PIL were going to stay but they're not anymore. So, we'll be back to normal tomorrow.

Vinny - so sorry about your gran xx

Back in a bit xx

wheres saf?? i want to snuffle see her.

mittz · 17/09/2010 20:27

It looks like my house is going to be the meet point for DS and his mates over the autumn, they are here nearly every night unless he is at his Dad's. Part of me doesn't mind, but part of me is glum.

I don't relax, I can't really take a bath, feel uncomfortable about even grabbing a shower. DD is mithered by them being in the house in that she won't settle and just wants to be with them. They just pile in, 6 or 7 tonight, haven't checked the trainers in the hall Hmm.

I am glad there is somewhere for them to go and hang out, none of the other parents seem to get them, despite me dropping hints. But I am torn. It is so fab that after years of bullying DS has mates and is enjoying being a 'kid'...
AIBU though to just want to be sometimes without a house full of yoofs?
I actually feel a bit tearful.... Hmm

VinegarTits · 17/09/2010 20:43

oh mittz, can you set some rules? say tell them one night a week where they are allowed at your gaff? and at other times they have to find somewhere else to go? is there a room you can retreat too when they are around?
